Luna POV:
"Ginny! Ginny!" I cry, looking at her limp body. I look around frantically, when I see a knife stuck in her back. Harry sees Ginny and gasps.
"What should I do?" He asks.
"Give me a second. Vulnera Sanentur," I mutter, pulling out the knife and letting the wound heal. I run into The Burrow, and everyone looks at me confused.
"Does anyone have my bag?" I ask frantically. Hermione points to my bag on the counter, and I grab it before running back.
"Drink this, Ginny," I mutter, pouring the drink down her throat.
"What is that?" Harry asks warily.
"Blood-replenishing potion. Very useful."
Harry nods, before looking back at Ginny.
"Here, let's carry her back. Want me to keep watch of her?"
"No, I'll do it," I say firmly, dragging her along the grass. I see everyone gasp as I drag Ginny in, but I ignore them. I drag her up the stairs until I reach her room, where I open the door and put her on her bed. I take a big breath, before waiting for her to wake up. I wait for a long, long time, until she finally rubs her eyes. I watch as Ginny slowly opens her eyes and squints at me, smiling at me when she sees who I am.
"Luna," she says, before coughing violently.
"Oh! Here, drink this, it'll make you feel better," I say, concerned. I hand her a vial, which she drinks in one gulp. I instantly see her eyes get brighter and her skin get less pale.
"Thanks, I feel loads better," Ginny smiles, "Hey, what happened?"
"Oh, I went into the woods to go find freshwater plimpies, but Lucius Malfoy came and trapped me. He said that he wanted me to tell him where Harry was, because he wanted to kill him, to avenge The Dark Lord, you know. But I didn't tell him, and he decided to torture me. First he cast the cruciatus curse on me, and then he- oh Ginny, he cut my skin. I think I have the scars, look."
I pulled up my sleeve to show the scars etched into me, spelling out "You don't deserv".
"What happened to the e in deserve?" Ginny asks.
"You guys came. Lucius ran off and put me in ropes and trapped me in his cellar."
Ginny stares at the scars for a while, before tears appeared in her eyes. If I know Ginny, she almost never cries. I've known her since I was eleven, and since then, I've seen her cry once during Professor Dumbledore's funeral. So when I see Ginny's eyes fill with tears, I immediately, spring up.
"Oh Ginny, this is nothing to cry about!" I gasp.
"Yes, it is! It hurts me when someone I love gets hurt!" Ginny says. I hand Ginny a tissue from my bag, and Ginny eyes it with interest.
"Why do you always carry that bag with you? It seems to have just about everything in it."
"Oh, it only carries what I need. For example, you would have been feeling really light-headed if I didn't give you that blood-replenishing potion from my bag, right?"
"You have a blood-replenishing potion in your bag?"
"Yeah. I got it once just in case."
We sit in silence for a while, before Ginny pipes up again.
"Oh, Luna, thank you for saving my life."
"It- It was nothing," I mumble, before Ginny stands up and throws her arms around me. We fall onto the bed together, laughing. We lie down on the bed together, arms wrapped around each other. Just then, the door bursts open, and Hermione walks in. We jump off of each other, both pink in the face. Hermione, on the other hand, looks amused.
"Congrats, guys," she says, sneering, before closing the door. I cast a confused look at Ginny, who giggles.
"I told Hermione about us before you got trapped. You aren't mad at me, are you?"
"No, of course not," I say, before kissing her on the cheek.
"Thanks for saving me again," Ginny says softly, before she falls asleep, apparently very tired. I kiss her on the cheek and walk out of the room, before looking at her one last time.
I swear I could've seen her smile at me.
