Ginny POV:

"Look, it's us!" Luna says, pointing at a copy of the Daily Prophet. Sure enough, there's a picture of us on the front page, the headline being "Two Girls Save Harry Potter And His Friends."

"What does it say?" I ask, eating my piece of bread with jam.

"It tells everyone who we are, what we did, and they said that they don't have any more information because we left Hogwarts and no one knows where we are," Luna answers, squinting at the paper.

"Well, we're going back today, so get ready for some interviews."

"Say hi to Pansy for me," a new voice pipes up.

Draco appears behind my back so suddenly, that I jump in surprise. Luna, however, doesn't look surprised. "Alright, we will. She made fun of us, you know that?"

"Well, then tell her to stop being an unnecessary irritating git."

I smirk. "We will, mark our words."

"Great. Now, you're going by floo powder, are you? Here," Draco says, giving me a bucket of floo powder. I hastily swallow the rest of my bread, and give Luna some floo powder. I take some myself, wave at Draco, who waves back, and going into the fireplace, I say, "Hogwarts!"

I spin until a second later when I see the walls of Hogwarts. I step out the fireplace, Luna behind me, but the corridor is deserted. "Oh, this is the time when everyone goes to the Great Hall to eat breakfast, let's go there."

We walk hand in hand to the Great Hall, and suddenly, I hear applause coming from all sides of me. They are students, who've seen the Daily Prophet and congratulating me. People cheer, there are banners of us everywhere, it's madness. Luna and I grin at each other, before we get swept in the crowd. Suddenly, my feet are off the ground, and I'm lifted in the air by random people, Luna by my side.

"Speech! Speech! Speech!" Everyone shouts enthusiastically. Luna steps on a table, and I follow her. I look at Luna, who shrugs and waves a hand. Huh, I should do a speech, I think to myself. I take my wand and point it at my throat, saying "Sonorous." I clear my throat, my voice amplified, and everyone goes completely silent.

"I'm expecting that you're celebrating because of what you saw in the Daily Prophet?" I ask. A few nods later, I continue.

"To be honest, I'm not really sure how I managed to pull that off. I almost didn't even pull it off, actually. I mean, Luna and I freed Harry and his friends, but we got overwhelmed by death eaters and we ended up getting trapped. If it weren't for Draco, we wouldn't have gotten out of the situation. And before you say anything, I want you all to know that it's not your parents who decide who you want to be, it's up to you. Draco's dad is the sole reason why Harry, Ron and Hermione got trapped. But Draco? He did everything he could to save us. Y'all really think that all Slytherin's are bad, but they aren't all bad."

I wait a moment as the Slytherin's cheer, and I smile.

"Another point is that although you guys think that we were a bunch of heroes saving the world, we really weren't. We had no idea what we were doing, and we almost died. No, we aren't being modest. I'm just saying that you're more powerful than you think, and you shouldn't let anyone else think otherwise."

"Lastly, I would like to thank my partner in crime, Luna. She's the smarter, more clever person out of us two, and it pays off. Without her, we wouldn't have gotten out of the situation alive. Everyone, give her a hand!"

Cheers erupt for Luna, who is as red as a tomato. Finally, the cheering stops. "Ok, I guess that's my spe-"

"Hang on," Luna says, her voice amplified, "You're forgetting yourself."

"Huh? It's not like I did anything."

"Ginny, think about this for a moment. Without you, I would've been dead after Lucius tortured me. Give Ginny a hand!"

Cheers erupt, but they're for me. I stand on the table, looking down at everyone, clearly inspired by me and Luna's little stunt. I smile, looking at Luna, hand in hand. Then, without thinking through it, I turn to Luna and kiss her, lifting her off the ground. Everyone turns silent, looking at this ordeal. We break apart, a moments of silence, and then...

"Aw, so it's official! The poor ginger going for the weird one!" Pansy shrieks. I smirk at her, before remembering something that Draco Malfoy said.

"Stop being such an unnecessary irritating git, Pansy."
