🌸-ice skating

You and Damiano hadn't been on a fun date for ages. It was all just watching movies at home and cuddling, which you loved obviously but wanted to do something more exciting. So you decided to take him to do iceskating.

He is sat beneath you, tying up your laces for you. He pulls them tightly.

Y/N: Dami, you don't have to do everything for me, haha. I am capable.
Dami: I just want you to be safe that's all.

He smiles. You know he was probably nervous. You've only seen him skate once and it was fair to say he was pretty bad.

You stand up in your skates. You begin to walk fine. You thought Dami was following right behind but turn around to see him struggling to stand up atall.

Dami: how do you walk in these things?

You walk back over to him and pull him up.

Y/N: it's easier when your on the ice! come on!

You take his hand and begin to walk towards the ice rink. You were pretty good at iceskating, you weren't worried at all. You get to the ice and step on.

Dami: oh my god, I'm going to fall as soon as I step on!
Y/N: give me your hand! You'll be fine, we can skate near the edge so you can hold on.
Dami: no I'll look like a child!
Y/N: I mean, I could get you a penguin to hold onto.

He looks at you with a smile on his face. You laugh imagining him holding onto one of those.

He finally steps into the ice, slipping a little. He grabs your arm as he tries to keep his balance. You begin to pull him along a little as you start to skate.

Dami: how are you staying so still?
Y/N: just balance dami! look at me, just glide

He does about 3 glides foward, with your help before falling over already. He slips and lands on his bum. He looks up at you and pulls a frustrated smile.
You burst into laughter. He laughs a few times himself

Dami: Y/N! This is so embarrassing

He says while still laughing at himself. He can't get up though. He grabs your arm trying to pull himself up but keeps falling back down!

Dami: I might aswell just sit here forever
Y/N: come on

You laugh pulling his arms up so he's stood upright again. He kisses you quickly and you feel his smile press up against your lips.

Dami: Ok, help me not fall this time haha,
Y/N: just glide around. Look watch me!

You say gliding foward a bit, forgetting you had leg go of his arm.

Dami: Y/N omg! Don't let go of me!

He starts to wobble and you quickly glide back over to him. He grabs onto your waist and tries to regain his balance.

Y/N: well that was close
Dami: oh my god, don't let go of me again or I'll end up falling on some child!

You both laugh and begin to start skating again. Damiano managed to get the hang of it a little more. That's until, all the fast skaters enter the ice. They start to zoom past you both, making Damiano feel a little intimidated.

Dami: Gesù Cristo! How are they going so fast?
Y/N: because they must practice a lot!

Damiano starts to feel cocky and tries to speed up like them which quickly backfires. He suddenly loses balance and his legs flip into the air as he falls down pulling you down with him as your still holding his arm.

Y/N: WOAH DAMI!
Dami: OH MY GOD

you both scream as you tumble onto the floor together. Dami looked at you and unexpectedly began to laugh..

Dami: well that went well
Y/N: yeah, really well!

You both sit on the ice and laugh together before he leans in and kisses you.
