James Potter has always been infatuated with Lily Evans. It was common knowledge at this point. But when a certain Arabella Silvers enters his life, he's not so sure anymore. Arabella has turned his world upside down, the question is; in a good or a...

*time skip to Seventh year*
Days turned into months and pretty soon the summer of 1977 was over. Arabella didn't think life could get better than this. She had people who she would never in a million years expect, on her side. The Silvers twins have truly been through hell, but they see the light. And what's better is they have people who help light the way.
Arabella and James had told Monty and Mia about their relationship over the summer. To say they had been excited was a total understatement. For context, Mia had bought them a list of baby names the next day and Monty came with suggestions on where to buy their house. Ara got a little overwhelmed but she was beyond grateful to have parental figures in her life who would go above and beyond for her.
Now here they were, on the train back to their second home; Hogwarts.
They had found the rest of the Marauders and the girls on the station and Vi and Liam joined them in the compartment a little later. Remus had figured out how to place an extendable charm on the compartment so they could fit as many people as they pleased. Of course, Sirius had suggested throwing a party in the compartment. Remus instantly put him in his place.
Arabella was the only one who seemed to see the ever so obvious flirting between the marauders resident Padfoot and Moony. The sexual tension between them was suffocating.
*Flashback to Summer*
Euphemia and Arabella sat in the kitchen looking through the Hogwarts letter. They sat in comfortable silence however Ara could see Mia staring at her.
Ara moved her eyes up to meet Mia's. Mia was staring right at her and Arabella raised an eyebrow.
"My mother's name was Arabella" she smiled sentimentally
"really?" Ara asked calmly
"Do you love him?" She asked, ignoring the last question. It seemed a hostile question however the woman still had a warm smile on her face.
Arabella was visibly taken aback by the question. To be quite frank, she didn't know what it was like to love someone in that way. She loved Griffin. She loved Regulus. She loved Sirius. She loved Violet, Remus, Lily, Marlene, Peter, Liam, and more. But with James it was different. She certainly thought it was love. She hadn't really thought about it, it didn't seem important. But the way Mia asks it makes it seem like it's the most important question in the world.
"I think so" she mutters "I've never loved someone like this before, but when I'm with him it's totally different. Like, when I look at him I see a future. And not like a future, I see with my brothers or best friends, but like a future like you and Monty. You know?" she rambles
"But I'm not sure he feels the same, what if I'm just a high school romance or like a young love or whatever?" she says quietly
"I think you better tell him that." The older woman says to which Ara raises an eyebrow
