Being the middle child was always tough, the constant bickering between prue and phoebe, and piper and paige was always saddening. Seeing your sisters drift away from the other and leaving you to mediate caused a great shift in your sisters bond. So great not even the death of your grams could keep them together. your two, carefree, younger sisters choosing to leave for the betterment of your sistership.

This, although hard, was probably the best for all of you because in a few months time do you come back together and form a bond much stronger than ever before.

The bond of the charmed ones, powerful witches that together defeat evil. Each sister with the power to move objects with the mind, the power to slow time, the ability to see into the future and the past, and telekinetic Orbing. And you being the sister to control all four elements, a clear testament to how you were the glue in the family and had coincidentally kept your four sisters from combusting.

Its now with these gifts you've learnt why you had the, unfortunate burden of being the middle child and mediator in the halliwell household, it was because it was your destiny.

Because only you could control four seemingly opposing and contrasting elements.

Only you could control the wrath that prues hot-headedness brought to the table, and nurture the strength of pipers motherly nature. Only you could see past phoebes presumed unresponsibility and see the loving soul that could cleanse even the most evil of beings and be the hand that helps paige acknowledge the strength to face the consequences of her past actions and have the power to help others do the same.

Its with these constant challenges you faced, that kept your family together and brought the sisters to realize the powers within themselves and eachother, empowering them and your bond with no other magic but one. Love.

A/N; seriously though, how tf do you end these things. Feels like its missing something. And I guess the beginning and end are sorta contradictory but just because she's close with them doesn't mean they need or needed to be together 24/7 and story wise the sisters had to be apart, not only for them to learn the truth of their ancestry but for themselves. Eww, mushy but true.

Had to publish coz it was the only option it gave me when it wouldn't save. Wattpad you b**ch. Please if anyone uses this story lmk before you use it. Coz plagiarizing is also a b**ch.

If you hadn't noticed by the descriptions and the photo above (not mine) the sisters represent the four elements. Prue being fire, piper being earth, phoebe being water (reference to falling for cole, a demon) and paige being air. There's also different representations of how the sisters portray the elements in the fandom but this, i felt more suitable. (I had initially started writing the story just with saying the reader was an elemental, it wasn't until I realized there was the same amount as sisters as there was elements, that I included the contrasting traits in said sisters).

Secondary power for reader, could be lightning and then freezing, or maybe metal. Readers powers not only reflects on the sisters traits but what them and their past lives had for powers. Paiges being an elemental in her past life, phoebe having had the power to manipulate fire in hers, prues power to move things with her mind being somewhat similar to that of air and her past life's ability to freeze (ice).

Also, her being the middle child she's close in age to all of them and has been or will be in their shoes so thats makes her close to each of them. And why she understands what each of them has and will go through, this life and the next (why she has their past lives powers).

Paige was adopted out but it was an open adoption and for a while they just grew up thinking they were sisterly friends/cousins but when her drinking became an issue as a teen she and her sisters learnt the truth...... or whatever. You can imagine her parents along with patty still being alive if you wish. But I left it open for interpretation. Sadly, not grams.

And to those who wish to keep the theme of the first initials 'P' being the sisters name and wish to make the reader an oc, instead. I was thinking Phoenix as its spiritual meaning is to be reborn from darkness to light, mening a full cycle. An occurrence that which all elements need to flourish. Just a thought.
