AN: Reader was meant to be Māori, a [polynesian] native to New Zealand but you can just read it as a kiwi. Kiwi is slang for a person from NZ.

Set in season one but in modern time. So 2021. I haven't seen ftwd in a while so I'm sticking to the basics.

Warning: Alludes to shower seggs but nothing descriptive. Could just be shower cuddles but who knows, feel free to imagine whatever. Also contains swearing.

The reader and Alicia are dating. Their parents know. It's implied that reader is with her family but the family isn't mentioned being there?? Might write a prequel?

Imagine... being the daughter of one of Travis' family friends who visited from his home country, New Zealand, and falling for his step daughter, Alicia, who you'd met and spoken to often, ever since he started dating Madison, her mother, years ago. Eventually having started dating, yourselves.

"Mmm, I can't believe I was away for so long. I missed you." You say between kisses. Damn long distance!

"Hmm, I missed you, too." She mumbles back, pulling away from the kiss to speak clearly, her arms circling you and bringing you closer, "You know, at this point, I'm just gonna have to talk our parents into letting you stay forever."

"Forever? I don't mind that..," you say, putting your arms around her shoulders, relishing on the skin to skin contact. Wishing to be closer, although there's no possible way that you could, "...especially if you're the one thats telling our mum's."

"Wha--" she taps your waist in mock scolding.

"Hey! You said you, baby. I'm just telling you what you said." You say, smugly.

Her smiling back as she could never be mad at you for long, leaning in to kiss you with a mumbled, "Idiot."

The kiss met with disappointment, not at the mock insult, but at the disturbing sound of someone pounding on the bathroom door, "Alicia! Get out of the shower, now! Travis needs to get in there."

Huffing, your girlfriend yells back, "Okay!"

"Whew! And I thought she was about to bust us." You whisper, the sound of your heart beating a different rhythm as to one you usually have with Alicia around. Madison scaring you into the next year.

"You, too, Yn!" Well fuck, is it 2022, already? You think, gulping.

"Welp, spoke to soon... Y' think she'll let me stay here forever, now?" You joke, your girlfriend rolling her eyes, kissing you before exiting the shower and wrapping a towel around her body, you following behind her as you both walk out of the bathroom and into her bedroom, you both giggling in disgust as you hear her mum call Travis 'hot' for 'fixing' the kitchen pipes.

Too bad that forever you joked about, may not be as long as you may think.
