You were just meant to be a hookup, just meant to be a temporary distraction from the inner turmoil of being a freak, cursed because of her last name and where she grew up.
But no, as she takes you home that night, slipping out of the black gloves she was cursed to wear because of her freak ability and reaches out to pull your naked body towards her, she was surprised to feel nothing. No overwhelming feeling of someone else's emotions. No overpowering thought that wasn't hers. All she could feel in that moment was the touch of your smooth skin, the touch of a woman that would never unintentionally force her to feel something she shouldn't have to feel. And for that she felt free, free because now she could feel how she wanted.
And what she wanted more in that moment was to be as close to you in every way possible.
