Imagine.. oliver coming back and with his surprise return, tries to win back the woman whose sister he had cheated with and had allowed to go missing on his mystery shipwreck, not knowing she had moved on with his friend, y/n, years after his and her sisters disappearance.

The knowledge that not only her sister had been seeing her on and off-again boyfriend behind her back but had also gone along with him in a ship that had crashed and disappeared was tough for her.

The endless torment and resentment and betrayal making her seek comfort in her presumed dead (ex)boyfriends' best friend had been what they thought, was just a rebound and a means of grieving, but as years passed they had grown closer than that of someone to keep their beds warm, but their hearts as well.

Soon, declaring their love and moving in, and building a life together but it was with the surprise return of the once missing, jerk of a boyfriend, Oliver Queen, things took a turn.

That resentment and betrayal, Laurel had felt when he'd left with her sister, now replaced with one she felt when he arrived without her. Why him and not her? Her sweet baby sister, Sara hadnt returned with him. Why??

And as she mourned once again she knew whatever advances the oldest Queen heir made, no one could alleviate the pain of a lost love, like you could. Nor could anyone replace the love shed found in you, coz even if Oliver holds the title of being her first love, you hold the title of her best friend and soulmate. Her true love.
