When Qetsiya had learnt of your betrayal she was not yet strong enough to seek her revenge, having been a spirit whose power from the other side hadn't been fully mastered yet.
But as she found that your betrayal had lead to someone else falling for a woman whose likeness resmbled the one who took her own love, she turned to a witch whose goal was to make her family invincible.
The sort of invincibility strong enough to destroy the beasts who had taken their youngest, Henrik'slife. Invincibility that can only be brought on by using the blood of a doppelganger, the doppelganger you and coincidentally two of the witch's sons had fallen for.
And so with the creation of the world's first vampires came the death of a young tatia whose lover devoted their life to saving all doppelgangers to come.
And if one day, Quetsiya would return, that person would be ready.
