Dear Imaginary Friend,

I haven't talked to you in a while!

You are pretty awesome, you know. I mean, the purple skin and green hair? Looks great on you, really! And is that a new tentacle?

Okay, so maybe I've neglected you for a few years. I didn't mean to, honest. I suppose that sometimes Imaginary friends go off and do their own thing, while us real people have to figure out stuff on our own. Reality isn't very fun, you know. I prefer Illusions, though I know I'll never really live there.

I know that you're supposed to believe in the things you see easier, but for me it's different. I'd rather believe in the things that I can't see, because they're usually a lot more amazing then what's really there.

Want an example? I've got tons!

How about animals?

In my mind, they talk, they feel, they listen, and most importantly, smile. To some other normal person, animals are objects, like a toaster. They just do stuff. However, I choose not to believe that. Therefore, reality is a matter of opinon, like most other things in life.

My reality is NOT the same as yours, imaginary friend. Though they are similar, you're is apparently a lot more awesome than mine. Yes, Jello pools are DEFINETLY for the win, but I didn't think of that until you told me. Ah, I've missed you.

Another great thing (Or maybe not so great, in some cases) is that people can exist in one another's realities but live in totally different ones!

I have some pretty awesome REAL friends too, and they all exist in my reality, although they have their own that they live in.

Seems almost surreal, huh?

Which is what you are anyway.

Oh well! It's okay, I love you. You're better than all those weird people.

You've been here for me when no one else was, and you've changed your appearance whenever I asked you to. I can't really top that, so you are officially my favorite. I love you, Imaginary Friend!!

Love,

Zanintia
