*You are back from your honeymoon and today you and Lizzie have an appointment, to check out your options for having kids.*

You are sitting in the waiting room holding her hand. She is taking deep breathes and staring straight ahead of her.

Y/N: Lizzie are you okay?

Lizzie: Yup.

Y/N: You know, you don't have to be nervous. It's all gonna be okay.

Lizzie: I don't know that for sure.

Y/N: Yeah, you're right. But we don't have to worry yet. Today is just talking to the doctor and getting tests done.

Lizzie: Mhm. Thanks for being the optimistic and calming one, for once, it helped a little.

You put your hand over your chest and act surprised

Lizzie laughs and squeezes your hand

Just then the nurse calls you

Nurse: Y/N and Elizabeth Y/L/N/-Olsen?

You stand up

Nurse: Excellent, I'll bring you back to your room and the doctor will be in shortly.

You and Lizzie are sitting in your room and then the doctor comes in.

Kaya: Hey ladies, great to meet you! I'm Kaya and I'll be running some tests and talking with you a bit today. So we ready to get started?

Lizzie: All set!

You nod and smile

Kaya: Okay well I understand you're recently married, congratulations by the way!

Y/N: Thank you so much!

Kaya is looking at her computer

Kaya: So I familiarized myself with your medical history a little bit before today. I'm so sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis with your heart problems Y/N.

You nod

Y/N: Thanks, I appreciate you saying that.

Kaya: Now this does put you at I higher risk during pregnancy and could possibly be something that is passed down to the child. However, this alone would not necessarily be something that means you can't get pregnant at all.

Y/N: Okay...

Kaya: However, coupled with other health issues or a hostile uterus, it could be very difficult and would not be recommended to try. Especially considering that even a perfectly healthy person only has a 25% chance of becoming pregnant through insemination. And many of those don't make it to full term.

Lizzie takes a deep breathe and holds your hand tighter

Kaya: I'm not in any way trying to discourage or scare you, but you need to be aware of these things and prepared for any results we receive from today.

Lizzie: We understand.

Kaya does some exams and different tests on both of you, that take about an hour.
