Chapter 64-Relaxing day together

*It is the next day and you are flying back to California and Lizzie is driving from L.A to your apartment near San Francisco*

You get off of the plane after a tiring flight and pick up your car from the lot. You drive to your apartment and go inside.

Y/N: Hello?
*You call out expecting El to be there*

There is no response. You walk into the kitchen and see a note on the table.

The note: Welcome back Y/N! I forgot to mention that I am going to stay with my parents for the night. Have fun with Liz! See you when I get back!

Y/N: Oh okay.
*You say out loud to yourself after reading the note.*

You set your bag down and then hear the front door open. You run back out into the hall.

Y/N: Hi!

Lizzie smiles and exhales happily when she sees you.

You take her bag from her and set it on a chair.

Y/N: Is everything okay now?
You take her hands

Lizzie: Yeah, yeah it is.

Y/N: Did you get enough sleep last night?

Lizzie: uh-huh.

You look at her skeptically.

Lizzie: I did! I wore myself out from all the hysterics and slept like a log. But the drive out here was long and I am pretty tired.

You hug her and kiss her softly as you pull away.

Y/N: Then let's have a nice relaxing afternoon.

Lizzie: That sounds great!

Y/N: I'll unpack and get some snacks. Just chill out for a little while, okay?

Lizzie: I can help-

Y/N: It's fine. I've got it. Oh and in case you were wondering, El is at her parents house.

Lizzie shrugs and sits goes to sit down on your bed with a book.

*You unpack and then get some chips and veggies on a tray and set it on the bed. You climb up next to Lizzie.*

She is still reading her book, but looks like she is about to doze off. You smile and chuckle to yourself.

Y/N: You want me to read to you.

Lizzie: Yes, please!
She hands you the book and shows you the spot where she left off. She leans her head on your chest and has something to eat while listening to you read.

A little while later, she scoots down and lays her head on her pillow. Within a minute, she is asleep. You kiss her head.

Y/N: Please only good dreams right now.

You snuggle down and nap with her. You wake up at about 5:30 in the evening. You decide to take a shower so you get up, careful not to wake your sleeping fiancé and go into the bathroom.
