Chspter 86-Home

*Alora has now been in the hospital for a month. You are planning to take her home today if all goes well. Currently she is undergoing the car seat test. This is where she hast to spend an hour in a car seat (without being hooked up to anything to help her breathe) in order to see if it's safe for her to go in the car.*

It has been 43 minutes so far. You are standing in front of the car seat in the NICU, worried out of your mind. But Alora is perfectly fine and napping away.

Lizzie: She's gonna do it. She'll pass the test.

Y/N: I know but I'm still worried. How do we know the test is....I don't know...accurate. Maybe she still shouldn't go in the car. I mean those are so dangerous. In fact, let's just stay here a few more days with the doctors to protect her.

Lizzie: We can't stay here forever. Yes, the world is a dangerous place but that's why we're here, to protect her. Come on, let's not be worried yet. She gets to go home today!

Y/N: Well to our little apartment for while I'm shooting, not really home.

Lizzie: Home is where our people are and so Atlanta is part of our home because marvel is part of our family.

You are quiet and thoughtful for a moment

Y/N: Did I tell you about my Alora dream?

Lizzie: No. When did you dream about her?

Y/N: A long time ago. Right before I moved to college from Atlanta. We were on that beach by our L.A apartment. I could see you a little while ahead of me and I could see you holding hands with a girl of about seven. She had long wavy dark hair and when she turned to look at me I saw her piercing green eyes, like yours. She smiled and started running towards me and then I woke up.

Lizzie looks down at Alora and back up into your face

Lizzie: I thought powers of seeing visions was my thing.

Y/N: Hmm well I guess Wanda has some competition...

Lizzie fake gasps

Lizzie: Never! She is clearly the most powerful avenger of them all.

Y/N: Well, can't argue with that.

You plant a kiss on her shoulder and turn back to face Alora. The rest of the time passes and Alora has passed the test.

You and Lizzie and Alora's doctors and nurses clap

*You go over and shake Dr. Williams' hand*

Y/N: Thank you for everything

Dr. Williams: Of course. This is the part of my job that reminds me why I became a doctor, watching families go home safely.

*A little while later you and Lizzie and Alora are all loaded into your car.*

Lizzie turns to you

Lizzie: Ready?

Y/N: Mhm.
You look back at Alora in her car seat
Ready Alora?
You turn back to Lizzie
She says she's ready too.

Lizzie: We'll let's go home then.

*You arrive at your apartment and take Alora's car seat of if the car and walk up to the front porch.*

Lizzie unlocks the door and pushes it open

Everyone: Welcome Home!

You see many of your cast mates and crew members, your parents, Amy, Tyren, and Penelope, Lizzie's parents and sisters and brothers, El and Mary.

You turn to Lizzie again and smile

Y/N: Happy Ending.

Lizzie: Happy Beginning.
