Chapter 48-Home

*Lizzie is finally done filming her movie in New Zealand. Today you are at the airport in L.A to pick her up(You have a week break from school).

Her plane just landed and you are waiting at baggage claim. You see her coming before she sees you and you run to her. She drops her bags and opens her arms as you run into her, hugging fiercely.

You start to cry because this last month has been tough, you've had a lot of nightmares and wished Lizzie was there.

Lizzie: I'm here now. It's okay.

Y/N: Please don't ever leave me!
You cry into her shoulder.

Lizzie: I won't. I promise.
She steps back and takes hold of your shoulders as she looks at you. She can tell how exhausted and deplete you are.

Lizzie: Y/N you are the most beautiful person I know, but right now I am not gonna lie that you look like crap. Let's go home and you can get some rest.

Y/N: Home!

*You take her hand and you guys collect her bags and drive back to the L.A apartment.*

Lizzie puts down her bags and then takes you into the bedroom. She helps you get changed into pajamas and then into bed.

Y/N: You're the one who just got off a long flight, I should be taking care of you.

Lizzie: Yes, but I'm also the one who left when you needed me. So now that I'm here, I'm plan on waiting on you hand and foot.
She giggles and kisses you.

You smiles into the kiss and pull her down next to you.

Y/N: Well I don't need any waiting on right now. I just want to sleep.

You turn on your side and she does too, snuggling close to you and wrapping her arm around your waist. You finally relax all of the tension and fear that you have been holding in. You sigh.

Y/N: I'm happy you're home.

She kisses the back of your head.

Lizzie: Me too. Now go to sleep! I love you.

Y/N: Love you.

You wake up a few times with nightmares but Lizzie holds you and talks to you soothingly until you go back to sleep.

*The next day you wake up and panic when you find Lizzie isn't next to you. You feel confused and discombobulated. Your heart rate starts to speed up and you get up and run into the living room. You see Lizzie on the couch, watching tv.*

Lizzie: Y/N what's wrong?

Y/N: I-I....It's nothing.

You go and sit next to her. She opens the blanket and you scoot closer.

Lizzie: Are you sure it's nothing?

Y/N: I was just worried when you weren't in bed. I don't know why but it all didn't feel real, it was like I had just dreamt that you were home and you were really still in New Zealand or something.

Lizzie grabs the remote and turns off the tv. She turns to face you and takes both of your hands in hers.

Lizzie: It is real. I'm here. Why didn't you tell me how hard this last month has been for you?

Y/N: Because I didn't want you to get super worried and come back early or something. You were so close to finishing and I was proud of you. It was rough but you're back now.

Lizzie: I never want you to feel like I abandoned you.

Y/N: I don't.

Lizzie: Well you can tell me if you do.
