Chapter 63-Comedy and Tragedy

*It is now January(second semester of your second year of college). School has been stressful and finals especially, but this semester has been okay thus far. The Scarlett Witch premier is next week.
You have had to get all of your assignments online for the last week because you are going to be on SNL(a live comedy sketch/skit show in New York that Colin-Scarlett's husband-is on) and had to be in New York to prepare.*

You are about to go on stage for the opening sketch. You are standing and talking to Kate McKinnon.

Kate: Don't be nervous! I'm sure you'll do great! And if you don't...well you are a pretty twenty year old marvel actor, people will like it even if you suck.

You laugh

Y/N: Thanks. Very reassuring!
*You say sarcastically*

You are told by a crew member to get in place before the first sketch. Right before you walk out, Colin comes up and taps you on the shoulder.

Y/N: Hey!

Colin: Hi I just wanted to wish you good luck! You'll be awesome! Also I just got off the phone with Scarlett and she said to tell you that too.

Y/N: Thanks! I don't know why I'm so nervous! I guess I'm just scared cuz I've never really purposely tried to be that funny, especially on live tv.

Colin: You are totally naturally funny and you've done so well this week in rehearsal!

You don't know what else to say because you are really anxious, but you give him a quick hug before you walk out. The cameras turn on and lights come up.

*The first sketch is a fake game of "celebrity family feud" and you are playing one of the contestants.*

The cameras turn on and the announcer comes over the speaker.

Announcer: It's time to play family feud, celebrity addition! And here's your host, Steve Harvey!

Kenan Thompson is playing the host of the game show and as the cameras turn on, he begins talking.

Kenan: Okay, now, welcome to celebrity family feud. Today we have a very special marvel themed episode. On the superheroes side we have, Mr. Paul Rudd,
*He points to the member of the SNL cast who is playing Paul Rudd.*
The black widow herself, Scarlett Johansson,
*He points to you because you are playing Scarlett in this sketch*
The one and only Latitia Wright
*He points to the member of the SNL cast who is playing Latitia.*

*You all wave and the audience claps*

Kenan: And on the villain side....We have Josh Brolin, if you don't recognize him as Thanos, don't worry, no one does.
*The audience laughs*
The god of mischief, Tom Hiddleston,
And last but not least, Kathryn Hahn!
*All of the actors playing them wave and smile*

Person playing Kathryn: It's been Agatha all along!

The audience claps and laughs. Kenan just stares at her for a minute.

Kenan: That was weird. First up we have Paul and Josh.

*The first sketch is over and you go to get changed into your clothes for your monologue while the SNL intro plays.*

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, Y/N Y/LN

You walk out on stage amidst the SNL band playing and the audience clapping.

Y/N: Hello everyone, I am so excited to be hosting SNL for the first time!
The audience claps
Now, I know that when you heard that the host tonight was an avenger you probably thought it would be Scarlett Johansson.

Yeah...I realized that when I walked into the writers room this week and they all just sighed. If you were wondering why I was playing Scarlett in that first sketch instead of myself, it's because it was already written, thinking Scarlett would be hosting.
The audience laughs
I mean, I get it. She's Colin's wife, she's been on here six times, it makes sense that you'd expect her. But What's harder is that I'm not even the second person you think of when you think black widow. Nope, that would be Florence Pugh.
The audience hollers and laughs
