"So, you really wanna ask her that?" Steve asked

"Yeah." Sodapop said, "I really like her. I just don't know what to say."

"You'll figure something out. Just tell her the truth."

"Ok, let's go."

They went to Sodapop's place where his hopefully future girlfriend was hanging out. "Hey." She said as she saw them walk in

The entire gang was there, including her best friend Isabella. "Adds, can I talk to you? Alone?" Sodapop asked

"Sure." She said

They went in his room and sat down on the bed. "Listen, I wanted to tell you that- well- I really-"

"Hey, Soda!" Ponyboy shouted from the living room, "Someone's here to see you!"

The two went back into the living room. "Sandy?" Sodapop asked

"Hi, baby." She said

Adds was standing next to Sodapop. "What happened to your baby?" Soda asked

"I lost it." She explained, "So, I decided to come back to you. Who's this?"

Sodapop looked over at Adds. "This is Adalyn. We call her Adds. And, I was hoping by this afternoon that she would be my girlfriend."

"What?" Both girls asked at the same time

"Awwww." Isabella butted in

"Why would you want to date her?" Sandy asked

"What's that supposed to mean?" Adds asked

"Well, you're just- so... weird looking."

"Excuse me?"

"Do you even own a makeup brush?"

"What kind of argument is this?" Two-bit asked

"She's calling me ugly, genius!" Adds snapped

"Not cool, Sandra!" Isabella shouted, "Let's not forget who cheated!"

"It's not fun." Dally remarked

"Soda, baby, can you choose between us?" Sandy asked

"Don't make him pick sides. He hates that." Adds reminded her

"Just tell us who you'd rather date!"

"Adalyn!" Sodapop said, "I choose Adds." He put his arm around her

Sandy looked at his face and realized he was serious. She left and slammed the door. "Will you go out with me, Adds?"

"I'd love to." She said
