"Y/n, when we're older, twenty maybe, I think we should get married." Johnny said
"Johnny, i'd love to, but that's still a long time from know." Said y/n
"Yeah, but, I think I really love you." He said
They were in the park and they hugged each other. Y/n kissed Johnny and had to leave. Johnny, Dally, and Ponyboy has gone to the movies that night and Ponyboy got home late.

"I can't believe this." Said y/n, "This can't be true. Now that it's happened, it's like...it's like I've been alone this entire time. Sure, it's been a year, but I've tried so hard to tell myself that he's gone, and I can't! I still dream about him, and it tortures me! I used to love dreaming about him, now I just can't!"
"Y/n, please. Look, I know it's the anniversary of what happened, and we're all sad, but, hun, we hate seeing you like this." Said Sodapop

"I know you're scared of them, Johnny, but you know if we could do anything about it if we could." Said y/n
"I can't take it, Y/n! I think we should run away together from here." He said
"As much as I'd like to, we can't." She said

Johnny, if you had to leave me, you could've left completely at least. Y/n thought. Your presence still lingers here, and it won't leave me alone. There's just so much that time cannot erase. I miss you so much!
