Vidyut pov:

It had been a week since we last met and today would be our last official meeting. She would have nothing to do with me. To say that I missed her would be an understatement. There had been times in the past week, where I even doubted my own decision of letting her go. I even thought of running out to her house and talk to her. But.....

What else can you expect from me? I had loved her god knows how long but after knowing the truth, I doubt myself, whether am I worth it or not. Even though I did not realize that it my mistake earlier..... it was done by me right? Every time I think about it chills run down my spine.... how would it even feel to loose a sibling? My god.... I think I would never understand the pain. The pa-

"Sir" The voice interrupted my train of thoughts.

"Yes, Aravind" I said once I noticed my P.A. standing near the door frame.

"The guests are here sir. They are waiting for you in the dining hall sir."

"Oh..." I looked down at my watch.

"It's 2 pm already. Ok fine, lets go down now." I said as I stood up and adjusted my suit.

---------

" Hello sir. Nice to meet you." Mr. Shiv, the head of the magazine said as I entered our dinning hall. It was one big hall and had a dinning table where nearly 25 people can dine at the same time. We used it for official lunch meetings and stuffs. But today we had only 6 people from the magazine for the lunch.

We all greeted each other and sat down on the round table while the lunch was served. Even though I kept avoiding her gaze on me, to not notice her was bit difficult.

She looked stunning in her Bottle green salwar.

"This month's magazine was amazing. Thank you so much you guys for the huge effort." I stated in general to avoid the awkward silence in the room.

"Thank you sir! It's our pleasure to write about you sir." One of the employee said.

"All credits to the writer of the article Ms. Manvi. We are so proud to have her in out team." An other employee said.

"Thankyou Ms. Manvi. And I guess it's your 1st official article after years. Congrats on that too." I said, meeting her eyes for the 1st time from when she arrived here.

"My pleasure sir. And yeah, thankyou!" She said, her eyes showing some not-understandable emotion.

The rest of the lunch went by in peaceful silence and when I was about to leave the room I heard Manvi telling her boss....

"No sir. I have an important job to do today. You guys carry on and I would go back later. I have informed even my driver to get back. I will see you later sir..... yeah.... bye." She said.

'What would be that so important?' I asked myself and with that went straight to my cabin. Work took over my day and I didn't realize how time went off.

"Sir it's 8 p.m. sir. When are you planning to leave?' Aravind said and that brought me back to reality.

"Leaving in few minutes Aravind. You may leave for the day." I said.

"Yes sir. Your driver is waiting for you sir." He said and stood up to leave, but what felt unusual was his wide smile. Why is he smiling this way? What is wrong with him? Before I could ask him, he left the office. With that I stood up, packed all my stuffs and walked down to the parking lot.
