Yesh's POV:
"Wake up.... we are going to be late at this rate." I said trying to wake Akshaya up.
"5 more minutes please. Just 5 minutes." She said in her sleepy voice making me giggle.
"Fine, then I am gonna get ready now. You might join later." I said trying to get up.
"Wait Yesh. Just 5 mins is not going to kill you. Wait." She said pulling me back closer to her.
"Fine...." I said smiling.
-------
Akshaya POV:
"You are going to rock it. Don't worry too much. It's fine." I said playing with his hair when he was about to go to the changing room.
"Stay here with them and enjoy the match." He said looking behind me, towards Vidyut and Manvi. The fact that they are here made me wonder why. Even though Yesh and Vidyut had been close these days, Vidyut had never attended a match before.
"Hmmm.... sure. Did you invite them today? Why?" I asked.
"Yes...... because it's a big match. They have to enjoy it with you." He said and I nodded my head even though the answer was not convincing enough.
"Fine. Good luck my boy." I said with which he moved towards the room and I took a seat next to Vidyut and Manvi.
-----
The match went on super fast as the game was under complete control of our team. Yesh seemed like a protagonist from romantic novels. His moves were super smooth that made me enjoy every moment of it.
"That was an easy win." Manvi said.
"No, it seemed easy because of all the efforts. It is a well deserved win." I said before I could even think.
"Whoohhhh... look at you defending him already..." Vidyut said smiling.
"Haahh..... you know how I am Vidyut. Don't dare talk against my boy.... you will face the consequences...." I said and sat back with a proud smile on my face. I felt tired after all the shouting and clapping.
"You guys can leave if you want to.... I will wait here."
The team was talking to their coach on the ground. After that they would go back inside the changing room..... and it would take forever for them to come out.
"He would go in now and it would take forever." I said leaning casually against the chair. The coldness in it made me feel better.
"I don't think we have to wait that long..." Manvi said in a giggling tone.
"I am telling you Manvi, I know how it is. I have been here before and it takes quiet a long time." I said without paying attention to what was happening next to me. I kept my eyes closed as I enjoyed the coldness of the chair I was sitting on.
"If only you would open up your eyes, you will know exactly how long it would take." She said and I slowly opened up my eyes.
Everything after that felt like a dream....
------
Yesh's POV:
It was a clear win this time. The score was completely favorable to us and things were totally under our control. All the boys were in complete form and match was smooth enough. Akshaya's voice echoed through the ground and I knew it gave enough content for the boys to tease me for the rest of the week.
My nervousness kept increasing as coach was talking about the match. All except her knew what was coming up next. I had already said the team and Vidyut about my plan after the match. I wanted it to be memorable for both of us.
