Stay Away

32- What's there to dream about?

Akshaya pov:

"Free tonight?" I saw the message popping up on my phone screen.

"Yes. Sure. Sorry that I was not able to make it the entire week." I replied.
The last week had been a busy week at work and I was not in a position to meet him.

He called me back when I expected a reply from him.

"Hey" I said picking up the call.

"Seems like my girl is free today. She got time even to reply to my text." He said and I giggled.

"Not exactly.... but yeah.... not gonna make you wait anymore. Sorry about the last week." I said.

"That is fine. I can very well understand. No issues."

"Hm.. so where are you now?" I asked.

"Ground. Just having few practice matches with the boys. You?"

"I am still in the office. Working on one of my projects." I said.

"Great.... so when will you leave? I shall pick you up...."

"No Yesh..... I will take care. I have my car today and I need to get ready. Maybe you can pick me up tonight from  my house." I said.

"Sure.... just text me when you are ready." He said.

"So... where are we going?"

"To the place where we met first. I just want to be there with you." He said.

"The club? Maybe we can go somewhere else like a mall or a restaurant......" I dragged.

"Please Akshaya... I just feel like taking you to the club tonight. We shall go to the mall or restaurant some other day. Please  ........"

"Ok fine. I am into it. I will text you when I am ready."

"Yeah sure.. bye."

"Bye"

"Just loving the way we are here together. It is still fresh how I used to be here, hoping to meet you." I said.

"Same here...... it is just that our timings did not collide." He said giggling. 

" Maybe...... still can't believe......  feels like yesterday. " 

I loved the way we both were half drunk and were talking about random stuffs. It just felt right.

I slowly leaned forward towards his ear and whispered....

"I have something to confess." I said and looked into his eyes.

"What is that?" He whispered back holding his breath in. I giggled.

"I like the fact that you hold in your breath every time I come near you. You are disturbed by it each time......" I giggled. "It makes me happy..." I smiled sheepishly.

"Is this what you had to confess? oh god..... " He held on to his fake angry face. Pouted like he was a kid.

"It does affect me... I am not gonna say no to it. But, if you are going to keep doing this to me....... I cannot guaranty your safety...... move back Akshaya....." He said trying to push me back.

"I don't mind." I said and pecked him on his lips. 

"What I had confess is that....... I love you. Don't you dare think about replacing me with someone else. fine?" I asked and noticed him smiling at me. 

He pushed me back successfully onto my bar stool and leaned in.

"You know well that I love you so much already and that I have no idea of replacing you with anyone else." He said and kissed me back, this time a hard and a complete kiss.

"It had been years since I stopped looking into other girls. It is just that, it took some time for me to find you." He said as he pulled back and rested his head against mine.

"You wanna stay here or shall we get back home?" I asked and he smiled.

"Your house? You want me dead or what?" He asked and I giggled.

"Then how about your house?"

"Both of us would be dead." He said and smiled.

"How about a room as we did last time?" He said after thinking for a while.

"Who knows what you would do....." I said smiling.

"I know you would come up with this. I thought you just said that you love me." He said pretending to be offended.

"Hey, I was just kidding, I-" I started but he stopped me and said..

"I have no intention of doing anything to you tonight as you are drunk and I have a match tomorrow morning. I want you to remember everything when something happens. And I can't use out all my energy tonight as match is also important to me." He said and smiled mischievously. 

I slapped him on the shoulders and nodded my head.

"Whatever you say." 

"It is just that I want you next to me tonight." He said.

"I thought you just said.... you are not gonna do anything..... you said you wanted energy for tomorrow." I said giggling.

"Just kissing you won't drain my energy, you stupid. Do you complain about it?" He asked slowly moving his head away from my neck.

"I am not complaining or anything. Just wondering." I said giggling.

"Come here Yesh....you need to sleep." I said pulling him from top of me to my side. 

"You can do all these later. You need to sleep first. If you had told me earlier about your match tomorrow, I would not have let you drink tonight. Fine, whatever..... sleep first." I said as I pulled him closer held him tight.

"Things are slowly turning out the way we wanted it to be. It will soon be way more better. Things are gonna turn out to be more and more fine. You are gonna be fine." I said slowly patting his head as I sensed that he was nervous about the match.

"Sleep for tonight. You got things to slay tomorrow." I said.

"Hmm..... Good night Akshaya....." 

"Sweet dreams, Yesh."

"What's there to dream about when I have you next to me?" He whispered.
