Akshaya pov:
"I am here. Where are you guys?" I texted as I reached the club.
"We would be there in 2 mins. Please wait inside." He texted back.
So I started walking inside the club. Loud music filled my ears as soon as I stepped in. The smell of alcohol and sweat were high in the air. People were walking here and there, few were sitting on the bar stools and few were on the dance floor, moving their body as according to the music.
"One whiskey large." I ordered and sat down on an empty bar stool. By that time I took out my phone to reply to the texts for which I had no time to reply to.
"Thank you all for the love." I typed and pasted the same text to every birthday wish I had. Yes, today is my birthday and I am here to celebrate it with Vidyut and Manvi. I am never so interested in celebrating my birthdays, but Vidyut forces me to do it every single year. Mostly, the only person with whom I spend my birthdays would be Vidyut, but this year Manvi is joining too and I am happy about it. Even though, we talk very less to each other, I am happy about their relationship, they make the best pair I had seen so far.
"Happy birthday Akshaya" I heard Vidyut's voice when I was almost done with my whiskey. I turned around and found both of them standing hand-in-hand. Awwww..... I wish I have a boyfriend too.
"Thank you" I said getting the gift box from him. They sat next to me and ordered their drinks.
"So... how was your day?" He asked. "As ever. Nothing special.... just hugging tightly my office and work." I said going on with my second round of whiskey. I am never a heavy drinker, but don't know why, today I feel like wasting myself.
"Haha...as expected. When are you planning to settle down?" He asked.
"What do you mean settle down.... I am already settled. Look.... I have my own business and people work under me." I said, while ordering for my 3rd glass for the night.
"Not that..... find someone, fall in love, get married.....all those stuffs." He said having a serious expression.
"Hahhaa... let's see. Just because you have a girlfriend now... you can't lecture me." I said and focused on my drink. With that, he turned around to talk to his girl and a comfortable silence fell around.
I don't know after how long but the voice got me back to reality....
"We are playing a game of truth or dare... care to join?" A guy asked me..... a handsome guy. My god.... I guess my alcohol is taking over my brain cells.... he looks so damn good.
"N-" Vidyut started, but....
"Count me in." I interrupted and stood up from my stool to go after him. I noticed a ray of worry on Vidyut's face.
"You look drunk. Are you sure that you have to do this?" He asked.
"I am so sure. It is my birthday and I want to celebrate it this way." I said and walked after the handsome guy. When I walked past the main dance floor to the other end of the club, I noticed a group of people sitting in a round and a bottle was kept in between them. I took my seat and Vidyut sat next to me, while Manvi sat on the other side to him... she looked exited too, maybe that is why he is here.
The handsome guy sat on other end of the round, diagonally opposite to me. Why is he this attractive? I thought to myself when the game started. People asked various questions to each other and the game was a complete fun. The dares were so interesting and time went by like anything. People who failed to answer a question or failed to do a dare, drank alcohol as penalty. I kept laughing and drinking all the while. Maybe I should play this game often. It made me happy on the whole to a next level.
