Manvi pov:
"Hello Manvi. How are you?"
"Hello Shiv sir. I am fine. How are you?" I replied happyly receiving his call.
"I am fine. Is everything fine over there? Any problem?"
"No sir. Everything is fine here. I am alright. Things are smooth still now." I replied not willing to share my personal issues with him.
"Ok fine. How is your work going on? How much have you done it?"
"It's almost done sir. By tomorrow I will complete it. The whole next week is to check my work. I am working according to my plan. Hope all goes on well."
"Great to hear that. We are proud to have a journalist like you with us Manvi."
"Thanks sir. I am proud too.
Sir 1 small help......""Yes, tell me Manvi."
"Can I take half day off tomorrow evening? It's Mr. Shah's award function tomorrow and I am invited for that."
"Hmmmmm....... no problem for me if you can just manage with your work." He replied while I smiled.
"Thank you sir. Meet you all soon. Bye."
"Bye". He said and hung up the call. That's when I entered my cabin that morning.
It looked so shabby.
Files here, files there, files and papers everywhere.
I just din't know how I was going to clean that. I thought I can't go ahead with my work if I din't clean that. So I decided to clean my cabin first.
I walked in ...... actually jumped in and kept my bag and phone on the table.
I decided to keep all useful files in the shelf and have the rest on my table. Books, papers, and other items on the small table. And rest crap to be thrown out. That was the plan. I hoped I did that in 1 hour.Work started......

"Ufff." I said as I have just done it. It took me more than 1 hour to do this. But it's all done now. My cabin looks like a office room only now. I wish to have a pineapple juice now. I am so tired.
"I will throw these junks in the bin and ask the attender to get me a juice." I said to myself as I walked out carrying all the junks in my hand.-----------------------------------------------------------
"Can you get me a glass of pineapple juice? I feel so tired." I said to the attender.
"Sure madam. It will be in your room in 5 minutes." He replied. I gave my usual smile and turned around. I noticed Aravind staring at me. It seems like he is waiting to meet me.
"Hi."
"Hello mam. Sir wants to meet you now. Can you just come? I will bring your juice there." He said."What? ....But why?"
"I don't know the reason mam. He said he want's to meet you. That's all I know."
He said. I am so confused? What would be reason? ........"Ok. I will be there in 2 minutes. I will get my files from my cabin."
"Thank you mam." He said and left. I went straight to my cabin and took the files needed eventhough it is not actually needed. This time I made my way straight to his cabin as I know where it is.
"Excuse me." I said knocking slightly at the cabin door. I hope he must be there in.
"You only have to excuse me to get in first." I heard his voice from behind. He is standing so close. I could feel his breath near my neck. I abrubtly turned around to see him standing behind me and not inside his room.
"Why are you here?" I asked. Instently regretted asking such a silly question.
"It's my office. I will be where ever I wish." He replied with a grin on his face.
Why does he have this stupid grin on his face when ever he talks to me????"You be where ever you want. I just don't bother." I replied giving him a 'go to hell' look.
"What are these files? Why do you come with these when ever you come to meet me?". He said coming closer and touching my files.
"Don't touch. These are about my project."
"Then tell it's about me." He smiled.
"Maybe. Moreover why did you call me now?" I asked atlast getting to the point.
"Can we go in and talk about that? It's something personal."
"Ok." I stared at him wanting to know what it is all about. I stepped inside his cabin and gave him way. He crossed me and moved to his chair. His pink shirt and the grey blazer diverts me a lot.
He looks so hot.
How can he be so good? Why does he peep his nose in my life when I say I don't want him? Why is he doing this to me?"Take your seat." He said bringing me out of my thoughts. I slowly moved towards the chair and sat.
"Actually my project is almost done. I......" I started but he interupted asusual.
"I am no way worried about all these nonsense."
"Excuse me. Mind your words Mr.Shah." I said.
"I meant you would anyway make it perfect and I am no way worried about it. I didn't call you for this." He said.
"Ok fine. Tell me." I said closing my files harshly to make him realise that he is irritating me.
"Thanks Manvi."
"For what?"
"Accepting to come to the function tomorrow. Your presence would make it the best in my life."
"Have I never attended any of your functions before? Am I so new in your life?If I keep away from you for a reason, why don't you understand that? Why do you plan such silly things?"
"I didn't plan anything. It was Akshaya who did all this. I don't know anything. But ...... I am sure about one........ just a life without you is impossible for me."
A complete silence surrounded us. I don't know why he keeps proving that the fault is not on his part? I only know the reason behind my strange painful behaviour towards him. How will I tell him that? I think it's safe to stay away from him.
"Your words make me weak. Don't call me here after if the matter is personal. I will spend my next one week here, complete my project and get out of your life completely. Leave me." I said and ran out of the cabin.
He stood still. No words from him. I found him in tears when i just closed the cabin door behind me. His tears blocks my heart. I go mad.His tears make my chin wet.
