December 1st is finally here. It feels like the days would never end. On 7th November they announced that the lockdown would last only two weeks, but after those two weeks they said until 5th December.
Angel is slowly starting to understand that they want to keep them locked in forever. It's getting nice and frosty out, a few ice stalactites have formed under their roofs and window sill. Angel removed them and threw them on the ground like arrows. He was tempted to lick it to see if it would stick to his tongue but he wasn't sure if it was sanitary to taste it so he remained satisfied making a sports out of it. He had a bowl of ham placed on the window sill in case the multitailed fox would come back and visit.

Angel in his head has been playing a movie quote over and over again. At a certain point it became so loud in his head that he started repeating out loud. 'You must close the vortex.' He just loves the way the character's voice sounded when he said it. He hasn't seen the movie in years but it's animated in his mind so vividly.

With the window open he can hear the news that his older brother is watching. Angel can hear the noise but he's not paying attention to the words, he doesn't know how but he's able to tune them out.

'Make sure that you don't have too many mirrors in your home as they portals for demons to come in and out of your reality as they please.' The woman on the television news spoke.

Usually Angel wouldn't believe anything that he was told on by the news but when this all took place the mirror was smashed to pieces.

'Glenn, we need to buy a book...!' He exclaims. '...On how to close portals.'

Glenn doesn't really agree with it. He doesn't think that it's possible for a mirror to do that and doesn't take it too seriously. Even if Glenn does start to believe in it the bookstore is closed. they bicker about it for ten minutes.

'Angel...! Stop! There's a million mirrors in the world and you want to find the one where the vortex was created to-to stop demons from coming through?' Glenn asks him.

'I know what mirror it is!' He says exasperated. Angel's not sure if it's worth telling him, he's in for a world of trouble but better than staying locked in for the rest of his life.

'I summoned a demon on Halloween night... It was just for fun but the demon broke the mirror and apparently we made a mess.'

'ARE YOU SERIOUS? WHAT IN GOD'S NAME WERE YOU THINKING?' Glenn yells. 'Who is "we"? Lukyo? Rin? Khalid and Liam!?"

Angel was hoping to leave the others out of it even though they're just as responsible. 'Liam actually wasn't there. He left us alone to run some errands... So we had about an hour to ourselves. That's why we were able to summon it.'

'ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?! I PAY A LOT OF MONEY TO LOOK AFTER YOU AND HE LEAVES YOU ALONE TO RUN PERSONAL ERRANDS!?! I'M GONNA KILL HIM! WHAT THE HELL DID I HIRE HIM FOR?!?'

Angel is starting to think that he should have told Glenn from the start that Liam might be taking advantage of him. Lukyo had warned him to watch his back.

'Take me to where you broke the mirror.' Glenn grabs his coat, hat and house keys. He has no idea what to do, he just hopes that a stroke of genius might hit him once he sees it.

Angel hesitantly inches back and forth. 'It's in a forest... Erm-They're going to fine us if they see us out.' Angel's voice goes soft. He feels that too loud might anger Glenn even more.
Their mother used to soften her voice like this whenever she felt threatened in front of their father.

'I know. I hope that they don't see us.' Glenn says. 'We're getting there by foot, the car makes too much noise and they'll catch us. This way we can walk softly on the points of our feet.'
