Wicked intentions.

October 1st 1999.

Several grey clouds are blocking the sun and the wind is fairly aggressive. A young adult male, known as Glenn is collecting several tree branches to warm the house up for this evening. His eleven year old brother is helping him out by collecting the thinner ones. The little one's name is Angelo but he goes by the name 'Angel' because he feels that it rolls off the tongue better. 

The two brothers live on their own in a house in the woods, in Ely, that the older one had built by himself. They struggle with finances thanks to the lack of support of their parents but they had always managed to eat well.

Glenn has also been home-schooling his little brother for over a year. Angel doesn't get along well with others, he despised all of his teachers and a good amount of his previous classmates.

Halloween is Angel's favourite holiday, Hunter Glenn in advance that he wouldn't have enough money to buy a costume so he made an arrangement with Angel's best friend: Lukyo Zayan.

Lukyo doesn't get him anything for his birthday but when it's Halloween they split the price for Angel's Halloween's costume.

Angel doesn't know that they planned this but he wouldn't mind it in the slightest, he doesn't care about celebrating his birthday or getting a birthday present. He never cared. 

The two brothers walk in their warm home, sheltered from the cold. Angel rubs his tiny hands together and unleashes his breath onto them to make them toasty, so that soon he'll be able to move them again.

The house is small but it still looks nice and welcoming on the inside. It has plenty of pillar and tealight candles set on most of the wooden furniture along with incense sticks and holders, sage, books, a variety of rocks and sea shells found at the beach. 

Most of the objects are of Angel's liking but Glenn never minded having them around.

An enthusiastic knock arrives at one of their windows. It's Lukyo. Her massive, blonde wavy hair stood out from the gloomy skies. 'Let me in! It's cold!' she shouts.

Glenn was about to open the door but Angel decided to simply let her in through the window and help her climb in.

Glenn explains to Angel that he and Lukyo had decided to get him a Halloween costume as a late birthday present because they know that Halloween means a lot to him.

Angel is really surprised and grateful for the gesture. He blushes and hugs them one by one before he creates an awkward silence.

One of the reasons he doesn't like to get presents is because even though he does appreciate it he struggles to show it. Never the less he loves this present very much, it makes him very happy but he doesn't know how to react if they get him something's he doesn't like.

The three of them go to the train station to take the subway to buy the costume.

Lukyo also wants to get a costume, isn't sure what but asked her mom to give her a few pounds in case she finds something.
She like Angel adores Halloween, not as much as him but she's always excited about it.

Once she found out that Angel deeply admired anything supernatural she knew she had to introduce him to witchcraft.

She's very knowledgeable on the subject thanks to the various books that her father: Mr Zayan had given her before he left.
Glenn also took up the hobby even though he was very skeptical at first, it still intrigued him.

Angel was and always has been the only friend that she could share this passion with, with that Lukyo decided to teach him everything that she knows.
