~New Girl~ [R.SY]

You hated the thought of being the new girl, going to a new school, away from your friends, with new people terrified you. You had been preparing for the moment you had to walk inside those classroom doors for weeks, but, of course, it didn't help. You stood outside the door, waiting for your new teacher to introduce you to the class.

"Okay everyone, I have some exciting news, we have a new student coming in today, her name is Y/N L/N, please be kind." You teacher gestured you into the class and you hesitantly walked in. All eyes were on you as you briefly scanned the room.

"Hi, I'm Y/N." You bowed slightly, and messed with the hem of your shirt out of nervousness.

"Y/N, you can take your seat beside Shuyang. Shuyang please stand up." The boy in question did as he was asked and you walked over to him. You both introduced yourselves and sat down.

"Shuyang, please help Y/N out today if she needs it, I can be hard starting at a new school in the middle of the year." Shuyang nodded.

"Okay Sir." The lesson started and you tried your best to pay attention to the teacher, but, you couldn't help but stare at the boy beside you. You took into account his features, and how attractive they were. Eventually, you got caught.

"Do you need help with the work?" He asked and smiled at you making your heart race, you can't have a crush already can you? "Don't be afraid to ask me, its okay." He chuckled.

"Um, a little help would be nice." Shuyang help you with your work until class ended.

"Would you like to eat lunch with my friends and I?" Shuyang offered.

"I don't want to intrude on your friend group." You waved your hand in a dismissive manner.

"Intrude? What do you mean? I'm inviting you aren't I?" He raised and eye brow at you. "Come on, I'll introduce you."

"If you say so." Shuyang and his friends were really nice and you really appreciated them being so easy to talk to. By the end of the day, Shuyang and you became pretty good friends. Shuyang walked you outside the school but before the two of you were going to turn your separate ways and walk home, you spoke.

"Thanks a lot for today, I was really scared, but you helped." Shuyang smiled.

"No problem Cutie, anytime." He ruffled your hair, despite the height difference, and turn around and walked away without another word. Your face heated up slightly, and you were happy he wasn't there to see it.

"Did he just- I- what?" You said to yourself. "He called me cute." You smiled. "He called me cute." Let's just say you were excited for your next day at school.
