~You Don't Have To Be Nervous~ [H.XL]

You looked yourself over in the mirror one last time, checking to make sure you looked the best you could. You were utterly petrified for your date with Xinlong, a boy you had had a crush on for the past few years. You'd never been asked out before so you had no idea what to do, what to wear or how to act. Taking to your parents for advice didn't help either. While you where messing with your hair, you heard a knock at the door and your heart rate when through the roof.

"Y/N! That cute boy from your school is here!" Your mother yelled at you from the kitchen. 

"Coming!" You double checked yourself and walked to your front door. You took a breath before opening it.

"Hi." Xinlong smiled at you and gave a little wave. You greeted him back and he gestured you outside. "You ready for our date?" He giggled while you nodded. You said your goodbyes to your mother and the two of you were off.

"Are you okay?" Xinlong furrowed his brows at you. He had taken you to a café, and the thing you feared the most had happened, the two of you had ascended into awkward silence. You were panicking to the point where you couldn't even eat or drink what you had boughten so, to answer Xinlong's question, no, you were not okay.

"Yeah I'm fine." You awkwardly chuckled.

"You sure?"

"Yeah it's just," You decided to tell the truth. "I'm really nervous." You messed around with the hem of your shirt. "I've never really been asked out before so, I don't know what to do, and plus," You paused. "You're really attractive so, that doesn't help." He laughed and gestured you to give him your hands

"Hey listen, you don't have to be nervous." He placed one of his hands under you chin. "I get it, but, try to relax okay? I don't want you to feel anxious or stressed this whole time." You nodded your head and the date continued with Xinlong reassuring you every so often that you were doing great and you had no reason to feel nervous.

It was late, mildly dark out, and the unfortunate end to your date. Xinlong walked you to your front door and you stopped.

"Thanks for this, I had a lot of fun." Xinlong waved his hand at you.

"Aye no problem, I'm glad you had fun, hopefully we can do this again sometime?" You nodded.

"Of course." Xinlong glanced at your lips for a moment before looking you back in the eyes. 

"Uh, well, have a goodnight." He smiled and awkwardly chuckled. He looked back down at your lips and looked mildly disappointed in himself. You gathered up all the courage you had and spoke.

"Look who's nervous now." You laughed. "So, you gonna kiss me or what?" Xinlong's eye widened.

"Where'd the confidence come from Babes?" Your face darkened a the nickname.

"That was all I got." You looked at the ground as to avoid eye contact.

"So cute." Xinlong grabbed the bottom of your chin and brought his face a few inches from yours. You could feel his breath on your lips and it was killing you. Of course, Xinlong could tell, that was the whole reason he hadn't kissed you yet, he enjoyed seeing you flustered.

"Come on quit teasing." You managed to get out in you panicked state.

"Okay, okay, fine." And with that Xinlong closed the gap between the two of you. The kiss was short and sweet, but amazing nonetheless. 

"That was... That was my first kiss." You touched your lips when you pulled away.

"Mine too." Xinlong scratched the back of his neck. The two of you said your goodbyes and you walked back inside your house. You shut the door and squealed due to excitement. Little did you know that Xinlong hadn't quite left yet and heard your little freak out. He giggled to himself and walked away.

"Wow, I think I love you Y/N." He said to no one but himself.
