Warning, this is my [failed] attempt at angst, so be warned it's probably cringy

Its so hard imagining this baby as a bully but I'll try :')

"Jesus Christ get out of my way." Zeyu shoved you aside while walking with one of his friends you knew to be named Mingrui.

"S-Sorry." You managed to get out.

"S-S-S-SoRrY." He mocked and rolled his eyes, making you feel embarrassed. Mingrui looked at him then you, then him again.

"Why are you always so mean to her dude? She's literally done nothing to you." Mingrui chuckled to lighten the mood. You smiled at him and bowed your head slightly, thanking him for standing up for you a little. Zeyu looked at the two of you disgusted. 

"Don't tell me you're standing up for this bitch now? Damn Mingrui, you've gotten soft." He paused and raised his eye brows at Mingrui. "Or maybe you just like her?" Mingrui's face heated up while he tried to make up an excuse. Zeyu clicked his tongue. "That's nasty bro, what the fuck." He started walking away, Mingrui following, but not before he mouthed an 'I'm sorry.' to you, which you appreciated. Zeyu had been your own personal bully for almost six months now, you had no idea what you did to him, or why your existence annoyed him so much, but you just had to deal with it. He was a good student with a lot of friends and admirers, the teachers liked him, he seemed to be a decent person, but for some reason, he just wouldn't leave you alone. His friends were nice and they'd sometimes try and get him to stop picking on you, but Zeyu wouldn't listen. He made everyday you when to school a living hell, he made you hate yourself, he made you feel worthless, did he know the things he said affected you so much? Zeyu somehow knew all of your insecurities and just how to make you feel like they were what everyone was talking about behind your back. He'd say things like: "Wear enough makeup today? Why bother it doesn't help you. Better to look ugly then ugly and fake." "Would you shut the fuck up, no one wants to listen to you." "Fucking whore." "Why don't you test the height of the school room sweetheart." "Look at the size of your legs, Jesus, you look like you eat to much." [Ha lmao I speak from experience, thank you to that one asshole in my class who is my inspiration for this, also, fuck you.] He'd also make comments after you said something to make you feel stupid for even talking. Eventually you stopped, you stopped talking, you just walked throughout the school a hoped Zeyu would leave you alone, but of course, he never did. One day while walking down the hall, you heard a conversation between Zeyu, and one of his friends, Hanyu.

"You have to leave her alone Yu, you're making this girls life a living nightmare." You quieted down and continued listening.

"Why should I?" Zeyu scoffed.

"Do you not have any sympathy for her? At all?"

"She doesn't deserve it."

"Jesus Christ Zeyu what happened to you? Why can't you just leave Y/N alone? Have you seen the way she's been acting lately? She doesn't even fucking speak to anyone anymore! Because if you! What are you going to do if she, I don't know, fucking kills herself? What then?" You could hear the anger in Hanyu's voice, you've never heard him speak like that before. Zeyu was quiet for a second, before he spoke again.

"Not my problem." Tears brimmed your eyes. Would he really not care if you ended it? You heard a loud bang, as a result of Hanyu grabbing Zeyu's shirt collar and slamming him against the wall. 

"What the hell Gege get off me!"

"Leave her alone or you're not going to have friends anymore."

"What do you mean?"

"None of us want to be friends with an asshole like you." And with that, Hanyu let go of Zeyu and walked away in the other direction. You heard Zeyu scoff before walk towards the hallway you were in, you panicked and froze. When he saw you his face instantly fell.

"You heard all of that didn't you?" You tried to stutter out a rely as fast as you could, knowing he would get angry at you for not answering him.

"I, uh, n-no I heard n-nothing." You let out a weak chuckle.

"Don't fucking lie to me Y/N." 

"I-" Zeyu cut you off.

"I bet you're so happy right now right? You've managed to turn my friends against me, how do you still manage to fuck my life up hmm? Christ." He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I'm sorry." You said quietly.

"Would you stop apologizing." You kept your head down and said nothing. You were about to walk away before Zeyu grabbed you by the shoulders and slammed you against the lockers, hard, to the point where one of the locks were jabbing into your back. You looked straight down to avoid his gaze

"You've ruined everything, you've taken everything from me and you don't even know do you? Look at me when I'm talking to you." You look up, with tears in your eyes, Zeyu was about to go on before he saw you crying, but once he did he stopped briefly, looking concerned for you, which was something you had never seen before.

"I'm sorry." You choked out another sob, "I'm so sorry, I-I don't know what I did to you, but I'm sorry." Zeyu let go of you and clicked his tongue. He walked away but not before saying.

"I told you to stop fucking apologizing."

For the next few weeks, Zeyu wasn't at school. Within that time, his friends, Hanyu, Zihao, Xinlong, Mingrui and Shuyang, had confronted you and apologized for their friends actions. They started hanging out with you which made you happy, they were a nice group of people, you didn't feel so alone anymore. When you did eventually ask what happened to Zeyu, since it had been weeks since you last saw him, they all scoffed.

"I wouldn't know, haven't talk to him, and I don't plan to." Xinlong said.

"Me neither." Zihao replied. "We still have no idea why he was so mean to you, he was fine with us." 

"Yeah and every time we asked him he would just shut down." Shuyang stated. You nodded your head.

"But don't worry about him." Hanyu started.

"Yeah! You got us now." Mingrui laughed and put his arm around your shoulder. You laughed as well but you still could help but be concerned for your tormentor, even after everything he did to you.

I'm soooooo sorry I know you wanted a sad ending but I just couldn't-
