"Y/N GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE THE NEIGHBORS ARE HERE." Your Mother yelled at you, you instantly look yourself in the mirror, conscious of the possibility that maybe, just maybe, someone your age would move in next door. You walked downstairs and met your Mother. She handed you a tin of cookies and other sweets. 

"Here, take these over." You took the tin and thanked your Mom. You walk out the door over to your new neighbors house and hoped they weren't some weird forty-year-old, who's a little too into moths. You knocked on the door and waited a few seconds before the door opened, revealing a good looking woman in about her late thirties.

"Uh, Hi ma'am, I'm Y/N, and I came over to give you these as a way to say welcome to our area." You handed her the tin of cookies.

"Oh why thank you dear! Im Li Annchi, Would you like to come in?"

"Oh, I don't want to intrude, you probably have a lot of unpacking to do."

"Nonsense, come on in, plus, I have a son about your age, it would be nice for him to have a friend before he starts at school next week."

"Okay then." You walked in the house and looked around at all the boxes.

"Stay here for a moment please." You nodded your head and stood in the living room while Ms. Li when in the kitchen briefly to gap a glass of water.

"Here you go." She handed it to you.

"Oh thank you!"

"I'll go get my son, hold on one moment." A few moments later Ms. Li came back down the stairs with a good looking boy around your age, you immediately got a little nervous. He looked a a little sad but you assumed that was due to the fact that he presumably moved away from all of his friends.

"Hi, I'm Y/N." You stuck out your hand and smiled.

"Zihao, nice to meet you, Y/N." He took you hand.

"Well I'll let you to get to know each other while I do some unpacking." Ms. Li smiled and clapped her hand together. You and Zihao just look at each other awkwardly for a few moments when his Mother left the room.

"Uh, you wanna come up to my room?" He asked, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly."

"Yea sure." He lead you to his room and you looked around at the newly set up posters on the walls, as well as the boxes.

"Sorry it's messy." Zihao chuckled nervously.

"Hey no worries." You study of the posters around his room or carefully, until one got your attention.

"Woah! You like MHA too?" [Sorry to all my non weeb readers.] You pointed at the poster.

"Yeah!" He smiled seeming a bit less nervous now that he knew the two of you had a common interest. "Hold on a minute." He looked at the labels on a few of the boxes, before picking on up and setting it on his bed, opening it. You watched as he pulled out the a few of the mangas in question.

"Wow that's so cool!" You briefly look though the set of books.

"I'm trying to get the whole series, but that's like thirty volumes so I don't know." He laughed. The two of you continued talking about anime, and you even ended up helping him unpack his things, which he appreciate a lot.

"Where are you moving from if you don't mind me asking?" 

"Beijing." He replied looking a little sad.

"Oh, I'm sorry for asking, we can talk about something else if you like." Zihao smiled.

"Yeah thanks." By the end of the day the two of you had become close, and you didn't even realize you had been there at Zihao's house as long as you had been. 

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry, I gotta get going, my Mother's going to kill me." 

"Okay, of course, but can I asked you something before you go?"

"Anytime what's up?"

"Uh, is it possible I could get your number, so we can like, talk, if that's okay." He avoided you eyes obviously embarrassed.

"Yeah sure!" You gave it to him and he thanked you. "Looking forward to seeing you at school!" 

"You too Y/N." You said your goodbyes to Zihao and his mother and made you way home, happy to have met your new neighbors.

EWWW I DON'T LIKE THIS ONE EITHER, IT'S NOT VERY ROMANTIC IM SORRY
