"If you were a vegetable, you'd be a cute-cumber." You looked up from you phone with a disgusted look on your face.
"Pardon?" Xinlong laughed.
"I always thought happiness started with an 'h' but it turns out mine starts with 'u'."
"Ew stop, the cringe, it's too much." You dramatically placed your hand over your heart and let out a breath.
"Your hand looks heavy, can I hold it for you?" Xinlong held his hand towards you smiling really wide, obviously proud of himself.
"Crinnnnnge, but don't worry I still love you." You held Xinlong's hand for a few seconds before bought your hand towards his face and kissed your knuckles a few times.
"I love you too Y/N." He chuckled. You when back to scrolling on your phone, still holding hands with Xinlong.
"Don't use those god damn pick up lines on me again. I can only take so much cringe." Xinlong rolled his eyes.
"Oh come on you liked it." He nudged you a bit.
"No I did not." You lied. On the inside, you thought the pick up lines and Xinlong's use of them was cute, although you'd never admit it. It was silent between the two of you for a moment, before you broke it. "Hey Xinlong." You giggled.
"Yes?"
"If you were a fruit, you'd be a fine-apple." You physically cringed at your own statement, while Xinlong laughed at your cuteness.
