"Y/N, sorry to cut the date short but I gotta go, I'll text you when I get home though okay?" Zeyu let go of your hands and got up off your bed. You frowned a little.

"Where're you going this time?" You weakly chuckled as to make your sentence sound less aggressive than it may have been taken.

"Oh nowhere really, I just gotta do some things." Zeyu packed up his things and slung his bag over his shoulder, smiling at you.

"Oh, uh, okay." You tried your best to smile back.

"I'm sorry again, see ya Darling." He left your room and shut the door. You subconsciously let out a sigh. What has been going on with him lately? Zeyu kept cutting your dates short and it was starting to bug you a little. Once or twice wouldn't have meant so much, but for the past two or three weeks, every time you'd hang out with him, he'd always tell you he had to 'Go somewhere else.' He was extremely distant and would never tell you anything about where he was going or what he was doing. Again, normally you weren't really protective or clingy and you weren't the type of partner to assume as soon as your boyfriend wasn't around he was cheating, but, he was just so different and you were worried.

Hey Darling! I'm back home, sorry for leaving again.

It's fine, but I think we need to talk a little.

Oh? What about?

Can I come to you? So we can talk face to face?

Um, maybe not.

Please? I need to see you.

Can we meet at the park? Stuff's going on here.

What kind of stuff?

Oh, I just have someone over, I'll meet you at the park in a few minutes okay?

Yeah sure.

You sighed, now he won't even let me come over to his house? That was absolutely unnatural for him, half the time you wouldn't even have to ask, you just show up at his house and vice versa. You two were so close, what was happening?

"W-What?"

"Is something going on? Anything?"

"What do you mean?"

"A-Are you-" You struggled to get the words out. "Are you seeing someone?"

"What?!" Zeyu's eyes widened in shock.

"I just mean, you've been acting really weird a-and I don't know just, it's okay, I guess I know I'm not the best and you could absolutely do better, but, j-just tell me so I can get-" Zeyu cut you off.

"Y/N, I can't believe you'd even think that." He grabbed onto your shoulders and hugged you. " 'Not the best' what are you talking about?" He pulled away and looked at you. "I'm not cheating on you and I never would even imagine doing so. I love you." Zeyu pressed a gentle kiss to your lips. "You wanna know what I've been doing?" He giggled. "I've been planning a surprise for you silly, it's our anniversary, that's why I've been leaving." Your heart sank.

"I totally forgot Xiao I'm so sorry oh my-" He cut you off again, laughing lightly.

"Don't worry about it, okay? I'm just sorry that I made you think the wrong thing."

"Not that's my fault for jumping to conclusions."

"No, it's not. Now come on, let's go back to my house and celebrate our anniversary." He kissed your forehead and grabbed your hand, leading you back to his house. "Can't believe it's been a year."

"Yeah I can't believe I've put up with you for that long." You giggled while swinging your intertwined hands. Zeyu bumped you with his hip.

"Hey!"

"I'm kidding I'm kidding." A comfortable silence fell between the two of you and the horrible thought of Zeyu seeing someone behind your back left your mind, never to return.
