"Okay, Leo, you've been out here all morning. Please tell me I didn't waste the whole day for nothing" Leo muttered to himself.

He stood in a clearing in the woods all by himself. It was cloudy out and the air was thick of the scent of rain from the night before. The only sound out here consisted of the crickets chirping and water running from somewhere. Leo had originally came out in a sweater and some sweatpants but he had discarded the sweater and was now only wearing a tank top on his upper body even though it was chilly out. Sweat was dripping down his arms and forehead from all the running and straining he was putting himself through.

With a nod of encouragement to himself, Leo raised an arm out trying to imagine the red energy that had saved him and Stiles that one night at the Sheriffs station. If anyone had walked by and seen him out here doing this, they would instantly think he's crazy. Trying to make something appear out of nothing with a constipated look.

"Damn it man!" Leo growled, letting his arms hang loose.

Why did it only happen that one time, Leo thought to himself.

What did happen that one time?

Did he imagine seeing the red source?

Leo shook his head no at that thought. Stiles had seen it too and there's no way Derek had done it since he walked in after Isaac was thrown across the room. Leo definitely was the reason the red source had appeared.

The shrill tone of his phone ringing broke him out of his head.

"Stiles, what's up?"

"Scott and I figured out Derek is making Boyd his next Beta! Scott is going to the ice rink to see if he's there and I'm going to his house. Can you-"

"Send me his address. I'll meet you there" Leo told him before hanging up while grabbing his bag and taking off through the woods.

RYLEE grabbed her bowl of cereal from the counter and made her way out to the living room. Today was her relaxing day since she had no homework and her brother was not home to act as acting parent. So, watching episodes of Criminal Minds was calling her name.

Unfortunately, today was also the day she could not find the TV remote. "Are you fucking kidding me right now?" She mumbled under her breath as she threw the last pillow back on the couch. She could've sworn she had left it on the coffee table that sat in front of the couch. Leo never usually watched the TV only because he claimed to not have time for it which sounded ridiculous to her.

Slowly spinning around in a circle to cast her around the room, she caught sight of the small black controller on the library shelf.

"Of course he would leave it there" she rolled her eyes.
