"If you ever say Jackson is a better friend than me, I'll make sure you never see Stiles again"

"If you ever say Jackson is a better friend than me, I'll make sure you never see Stiles again"

I rolled my eyes at Scott even though I knew he was more than right. My cheeks, along with my neck, were burning from how red I was. One of my hands rested on my chest as it was starting to ache from how long I had been standing and moving but what was more disturbing, was that my boyfriend had asked Scott to stop by to check on me. It just so happens that I needed help— to take a shower and put clean clothes on.

"Thank you" I mumbled quietly as Scott pulled my jeans up my legs after sliding my boxers on. The Hispanic werewolf only smiled at me slightly knowing we were both new to this situation but not trying to make it awkward.

"Of course. You're family now" Scott told me while shrugging nonchalantly.

It made me feel good that he was someone I could truly depend on other than Stiles. Rylee had stopped by earlier today but there was no way in hell I was letting her help me take a shower. Stiles had to take care of some business at school and my uncle was once again MIA. Scott had already seen me in the sheets with Stiles once so I figured I'd take a chance. Scott really was one of the few people I would trust my life with.

A knock on the door caught our attention as a nurse came in.

"Here's your discharge papers Mr. Sharp. I know your uncle said he'd be here later to get you but you're free to leave whenever you feel ready" the nurse said.

"Thank you, Nancy" I nodded as she walked back out.

"So, you're a free man again, huh?" Scott teased continuing to put my socks and shoes on. It hurt to bend over and I was told not to try and do so for the time being.

"Seems so. Although, everyone should be prepared for me not to be staying home" I mentioned.

"Yes you are. You need to rest and heal up" Scott argued with furrowed eyebrows.

"There's no way I'm staying home and doing nothing while Jackson is on the loose" I argued back like I was stating the obvious.

"You're only going to hurt yourself more in the long run" Scott sighed as he finished tying my last shoelace.

I stoop up with a little wince. "I know we both notice I'm healing slightly faster than a normal human. I'll be fine" I told him.

Scott didn't reply but judging by the look on his face, he wasn't going to get off my ass about this and he was going to run to the big guns; my boyfriend.

I stood off in the corner as I watched Deaton mess with some syringes and vials while Scott was messing with some supplies a few feet from me. With a frown, I laid a gentle hand on the dog that laid on the table in front of me, hating how the dog wasn't looking so well. Sometimes, dogs deserved way better than what they get.
