"Sorry, I didn't realise how long I had slept for." Taehyung explained as he held the door open for me.
"No, that's fine, I wasn't waiting long." I smiled, walking inside.
After entering his house, I was confronted by the cutest little dog I had seen in my life, it jumped up at my legs, sniffing me, and scratching for me to pet it.
"Tani down." Taehyung uttered.
"Tani?" I asked, crouching down to scratch behind the tiny dog's ears.
"Yeontan, and he's not supposed to jump up at people."
I looked up at him as he spoke, then back down to the little dog, so his name was Yeontan?
"You're such a cute boy, how come I didn't see you yesterday?" I ask as he jumps up to my knees to lick at my face.
"Yeontan, off!" He commanded, slightly more harsh this time.
Yeontan immediately jumped off of my knees and backed away a little, I felt bad, I probably wasn't supposed to do that if Taehyung had been teaching him to stop jumping at people.
I stood up, dusting my legs to get the wrinkles out of my jeans, and to hide my slightly intimidated face.
"He was here yesterday, you must have missed him." He explains, looking at me and waiting for a response, but I found myself distracted by the small bit if hair that flopped down from his head and rested in front of his dark eyes.
"So.." He started, I blinked a couple of times to wake myself up and start thinking about work.
"Yeah, uhm, so we're basically going to the same as yesterday, I think." I stated, watching him as his eyes travelled from my feet, slowly up my legs, lingering at my hips, at my chest, then back to my eyes.
He smirked, laughing to himself, "without the choking."
He caught me off guard for a second until I reminded myself of my coughing fit.
"Yes, without the choking." I repeat and smile.
"We can sit in the living room this time, it's warmer." He said, quickly switching the conversation and nudging his head in the direction of the living room before walking on, Yeontan and me following after.
I had only seen the front porch sort of room and the kitchen which was right next to it, so really, I was still very new to his house, and from what I had seen so far, everything looked very modern.
He walked through a different archway which held a massive open room, I mean, it could have been made into a ballroom it was so big.
It had two massive, grand staircases on each side which lead up to the second floor and it's luxurious landing, the floor in here matched the kitchen counters as well which just laughed at my broke ass.
It was cold and hard, making a super satisfying sound when you walked over it.
I wasn't used to anything like this, my home, or .. my house rather, was run down, all the furniture was discoloured and disassembling, so this was royalty to me, infact, it was just royalty in general.
Mentally I was screaming, this was absolutely astonishing, but physically, I was silent, walking after Taehyung who was striding past all of this.
It was difficult to watch him walk past it all without even turning around to ask what I thought, I knew that this was his normal but, there are so many people who can't even afford a one room flat, and the fact that he isn't even showing off a little is crazy.
