*Y/N'S POV*

"No, because Jimin, Jungkook and Taehyung were better at surfing than they led on, it's not fair that you just decide to show us up like that." Jin frantically argued, mouth full of fried rice.

It had obviously been a while since everyone was settled around the small fire once more. Jimin had ordered everyone a Chinese takeaway and some sat and ate, some got ready for the bonfire whilst taking pauses to eat, and me, I stood, intaking an unhealthy amount of prawn crackers whilst Abigail kindly put did my hair.

"Y/n! Stop moving." Abigail urged after I had stepped forward to pick up another prawn cracker.

She slapped my shoulder to tell me off whilst I laughed a little.

And ever since I had kissed Taehyung's neck, I had been glancing at him, and after catching his eye to see him smile at my food prioritised status, we shared a moment of undeniable smiles and flowering eye contact.

I genuinely felt like I was falling in love with that man.

I just didn't want to admit it to myself.

"Hey! It's not on us that you're shit at surfing." Jungkook stated confidently before his head slowly hid between his shoulders, mouth breaking out into a sheepish smile, knowing that his words would piss jin right off.

Everyone watched Jin'n eyes and neck grow as if he were challenging Jungkook to repeat himself, but it was all fun and games. Soon enough the laughter broke out and jin let go of his evil persona.

I held my stomach to stop myself from moving whilst I laughed but it didn't seem to be working after Abigail slapped my shoulder in the exact same place.

"Okay, okay." I chuckled, finishing off the last of the cracker which I was still holding.

"Wow, Abigail, you're really good at that." Namjoon commented, I couldn't see him as he was sat behind me and I wasn't allowed to move. But you could feel the presence of both of their dimpled smiles.

"Thanks, I've been practicing for a while, my mom's a hairdresser." She replied in her innocent flirty voice.

I sighed a little, knowing that I was going to be standing here, taking up the role of the third wheel again whilst everyone tucked into their food and laughed along to their own exclusive conversations.

"Oh nice, you just seem to keep revealing more talents." Namjoon praised, his words trailed with Abigails giggle.

And it was heart warming to see her so happy, but sometimes, to save yourself, it was best not to listen into the first stages of a developing romance, it wasn't fun when you weren't the one flirting.

I looked in front of me, and there he was sat, Taehyung, or, Tae, as he mentioned.

His velvet hair was draped in front of him, just the way I always admired it.

And his side profile, oh his side profile.

The way his lips pressed outwards.

The way curving outline his nose contributed to his angelic face.

His dark, weighted eyelashes hanging heavy in front of his October eyes.

I wanted to screenshot my view, just so that I could come back to it to remind myself that I had involved myself with him to the point where we were both stuck in this fly trap, a hopeless romantic and a stubborn prince, tied together by their own mistakes.

He turned his neck, his head moving in my direction ever so slightly.

I forced my eyes away from him, the rose on my cheeks warming my face.
