I had now spent a while with Yeontan, he was fed and sleepy as he lay exhausted on my lap whilst I sat on the couch watching the news.
I was on call with Abigail, telling her about what the day had been like so far and it was safe to say that she was more intrigued than ever.
"Jesus, I want to see this pool now." she spoke after I had finished explaining how it looked.
"It's honestly breathtaking, even without the cool feature, I just can't believe that he can live in a place like this without feeling the need to brag about it."
"That's a good trait if you ask me."
"Stop, if he keeps pulling out this sort of personality on top of the way he looked tonight.. I just don't know if i'm gonna be able to handle it."
"Nevermind touching the grass, go out there and get a bowl of it for supper, I haven't heard you drool over a guy in ages." She blurted, laughing through the phone.
I laughed along with her, secretly thinking about the irony and truth of her words.
"Well, anyay, i've got to walk this little one, you could come and join me if you would like." I say, looking down at Yeontan.
I promised to myself that I would get a walk in before he fell asleep.
"A walk seems nice, just a quick one though, the sky looks like it's angry, i'm not keen on getting caught up in this thunderstorm." She replied.
"I'll quickly drive up the now, see you in a bit." She spoke, hanging up soon after.
She knew where he lived after I explained that he was right next to Keiran's, and of course we were at his party not too long ago.
I continued watching the news, politicians embarrassing themselves, the same old dreaded hate crime, murders, terrorisms, what a joy.
I waited for around 15 minutes before Abigail was here, I answered the door to see her absolutely stunned face.
"The house! IT'S FUCKING HUGE."
I laughed at her reaction as it was so similar to my first initial thoughts.
"I mean, I thought Kiran's house was nice, but this.."
"That's exactly what I thought!" I responded, obviously great minds do think alike.
"And is this little Yeontan?" She cooed, crouching down do stroke him as he barked, dancing around my ankles.
"Yes, he's the sweetest little bear, so cuddly as well." I smiled glancing down at him, his tail flickering away as Abigail stoked behind his ears.
I took the lead that was conveniently hung next to the door and hooked it onto Yeontan's collar.
"Well then, are we ready to go an a little walk?" I asked him as he barked up at me with his tongue hanging out in desperate little pants.
For a dog that was almost asleep a few minutes ago, he seemed to be very excited.
We stepped out of the house and walked down the street, just far enough to reach a little junction, we talked endlessly about friends, drama, and boys, not only Taehyung but just boys in general.
Celebrity crushes, who in the cast of friends you would most likely date, but as of now, the conversation had moved to Jimin.
"Yeah, I've seen him around before." Abigail answered after I had asked if she knew him.
"I never really paid much attention to who Taehyung was friends with, most of them have left school already so it was a really surprise seeing so many new faces." I spoke, looking up into the atmosphere after feeling a couple specks of water land on my face.
