For the people who are afraid of spiders. If you are not: I kneel before your throne.
_"Loki, there is a spider!", I screeched.
No answer.
I looked angrily at the closed door of my room over which the spider sat. He heard me very well.
"Loki, it's an emergency! It's a monster!"
His muffled voice reached me from the kitchen. "It's either an emergency or a monster, (y/n). Make up your mind."
"Stop joking, you sarcastic snake!", I called.
He laughed.
Then I got an idea and I smirked mischievously. "Loki, I am wearing no clothes!"
Within seconds my door burst open and Loki stumbled into the room. He saw me standing in a fighter position on the bed (and fully clothed) and inclined his head with a slightly disappointed look.
I giggled, despite the spider emergency. Then the black dot over the doorframe moved. "Loki!", I whined and pointed at it.
He looked up and sighed. "It's literally tiny, (y/n)."
"Please bring it outside. I can't."
"You are overreacting. Look." He stretched out his hand and picked up the spider with his powers. It rotated in the air above his finger with a green shine, stretching out its legs confusedly.
I squealed. Loki grinned and carried it over to me.
"Oh my god, no. Stop it. Stop!" When he didn't stop and continued to walk to me, I switched to war mode. "If you don't stop, I will kill you. No, I will kill you slowly. I will- STOP!"
Loki stood in front of my bed and I sat down again, trying to make distance. He still had this stupid grin on his face and spinned the spider. "Oh no, I am scared. Are you afraid?"
"Of course I am, dipshit!"
"Insulting me?" He smirked and his eyes glittered with enjoyment while he lowered the spider in my direction.
I screeched again and hid under the blanket, tugging it tightly around me to prevent even the tiniest gap.
While I waited in the dark, I felt how he leaned onto the blanket hump I made. "Still afraid?"
I jerked at how his voice sounded like he was whispering directly into my ear. Despite the situation, goosebumps ran down my spine.
"Come out, (y/n) ...", he hummed.
I didn't move. After a while I felt him getting up. For a minute, I heard nothing. I peeked out under the blanket, and when I did not see him, I crawled out.
"Puh", I said. "At least the spider is-"
Then I saw it. A spider the size of a tarantula on the ground, sitting in the middle of the room on my carpet. Judging by the colour, it was a tarantula.
I stared at it in shock. Suddenly it started to scuttle in my direction quickly.
I screamed, but with the spiders speed I did not have the time to hide again. In front of my bed it jumped, and in the millisecond before it hit my chest, it transformed back into Loki.
"Bleaurgh, it's me!", he called and broke out laughing. He tackled me and his body pressed me into the mattress.
"Loki, not funny!", I scolded and felt how the panic slowly faded.
He laughed and giggled harder while he cuddled me roughly. I blushed and let it happen, but when he was done I gave him a little nudge with my elbow.
"Oh (y/n), you are so much fun to mess with!", Loki grinned and his eyes shimmered triumphantly.
"I guess", I answered, my face still red. "But please, no spiders in the future."
Loki pouted, but still with this amused look on his face. "Not even tiny ones?"
"No, not tiny ones either", I giggled. He was just too cute. "They scare the frick out of me."
We paused, and if Loki would be any other person, I would ask him to get off me. But he wasn't, and he watched me quietly while holding me down, so I didn't.
"And what about other animals?", he murmured and his face came closer to mine. My heart beat faster. "What about snakes?"
I looked at him while he bend down. "Snakes are okay", I whispered.
"That's good", Loki answered.
Then, after another hesitant moment, our lips met. I had never expected the feelings exploding in my tummy, and knew at the same time that they were always there, just tightly packed away. I felt his surprisingly soft lips on mine, slowly moving, and I moved with them. It felt so good, so delicate, so intimate. His lips were cold, but in a pleasant way.
In general I was heating up right now.
We pulled back to breathe.
"You feel good", I whispered.
"You too", he answered, smiling. "Almost as good as Lady Sif."
"WHAT?", I shouted.
Loki broke out laughing again. "It's a joke, it's a joke", he laughed.
"You damned god of mischief!", I called indignantly. I tackled him, threw him on his back and playfully boxed him on every body part I could find. He continued to laugh and didn't even try to catch my fists.
"Forgive me!", he pleaded, still giggling.
"Really, what's wrong with you today?", I asked and chuckled while I cuddled him roughly like he did a few minutes ago. I also ruffled his hair.
"I don't know", he answered and his snickering faded out while he tried to catch his breath. "I just feel mischievous today."
"Great, so it's like any other day", I replied, wrapping my arms around him and snuggling up to his chest. I heard him giggling and his body quivered from laughing.
"Yes, you are right", he said and grinned. He looked down at me and pulled me closer to him. "But at least I have a great addition to all the other days."
"What is it?", I asked.
"It's you."
