I had told the other Avengers that I sleepwalk sometimes, but they never really saw proof of that. Until I surprised Loki that night.

I was fast asleep, it was around 11 p.m. before midnight, and I wandered through the hallway of the Avengers Tower. Everything was silent, exept my footsteps on the carpet, and my sleeping brain decided it would be a good idea to go into Loki's room. I opened the door and got in, closing it behind me.

Loki was sitting in his bed, reading a book with his bedside lamp on. "Oh, hey (y/n)." He looked up at me and smiled a little. "What can I do for you?"

I didn't answer, of course not, I was sleeping. Instead, I walked to his bed.

"Uhm, (y/n)?", Loki asked in confusion. Then he knew. "Oh, is that the thing you told me about? Are you sleepwalking?" He paused and chuckled when I didn't answer. "You midgardians are so funny sometimes. So you really can't hear me?"

I sat down on his bed like it was mine, lay down and slipped under the covers. I grabbed his arm and linked mine with his. "Like you", I murmured in my sleep.

Loki looked down at me. "I think you should wake up. Maybe you don't realize you are hugging me. I am Loki. The one people don't like."

"Like Loki", I said smiling, crawling on top of him and hugged him quite tight.

Loki looked at his surroundings in disbelief, as if there was someone who could watch him. He couldn't help to be a little flattered. "(Y/n)", he replied smiling, "I like you too, but I think we should talk when we both are awake, don't you think? Wake up, darling." He clumsily patted my shoulder.

In response, I snored quietly for a moment, then I wrapped my legs around his hip too.

"Good heavens, (y/n)!" Loki blushed a little. "Wake up!"

I lifted my head and looked at him with closed eyes.

Loki looked back, a little scared and enamoured.

"Like me?"

"Uhm, what?", he asked.

I frowned. "Like me?", I repeated.

"I mean, yeah, I like you. Actually, I really, really like you. But I have to tell you that when you are awake. Some day, maybe." Loki smiled sadly. After a small pause, he grabbed my hip to push me down from him.

My sleeping self grabbed his shoulders and kissed him.

Loki made a surprised sound and his eyes fell closed for a second. Then, with great effort he pushed me on the mattress next to him.

Finally, I woke up. My eyelids fluttered and I looked around me. As I found myself in bed next to my crush, my heart skipped a beat. "What am I doing here?", I asked Loki in a high voice.

"You ... you have been sleepwalking", Loki answered. I couldn't think of a reason why he was breathing so hard. "Do you ... remember anything?"

I shook my head. "I never do. Did I do something embarassing? Oh god, I am so sorry ..."

"No no, don't be! You were very nice to me, uhm ..." He mumbled something about complicated midgardians.

"What did I do?", I asked again, biting my lip.

"You ..." His eyes lingered on my lips for a second. "You told me you liked me."

"Oh", I said. I felt relieved and very hot at the same time. "That's not so bad. I mean, you are a really nice person to work with." I tried to fix it all with a smile.

"I didn't think you meaned it like that", Loki continued, watching my reaction. "You ... well ... you also hugged me."

I blushed. "That's ... well ..." I looked down, torn between denying everything and wanting him to know the truth about my feelings. "Anything else?"

Loki paused and looked at me. "Well ... we should maybe talk about this another time ..."

"Loki, please tell me or I am going to ask myself what that embarassing thing was for the rest of my life."

He took a breath. "You kissed me."

I stared at him. "What?"

Loki seemed to be very keen to explain everything. "I didn't force you! You did this all by yourself, I swear. It's not so bad, I mean, it was a nice kiss in general, not that I would complain, and I really tried to stop you ..." He talked and talked and grew more red with the second.

I looked at his flushed face while he looked everywhere except at me, and I interrupted his stream if explanation with one question: "So you tell me I missed our first kiss?"

Loki looked up at me and realized I smirked. "W-what?"

"You mean, you like me back and I really slept through our first kiss?"

He stared at me, mouth slightly open, body frozen.

"I mean, I have to repeat that kiss so I can feel it? Or do you want me not to?" I started to crawl on top of him while laying one hand on his heart to feel the pulse. "If you want to make me believe you don't like me back with this high pulse rate, you will have to be really persuasive ..." I said suggestively while I was enthroned on him.

Because the moment he tried to explain himself, I realized a truth about him: Loki was shy. Shy around me. Even more shy than I was around him ... and that opened the possibilities to something very new.

"Uhm", Loki said with a high voice, unable to speak.

"Come on, say it", I chuckled and put a finger under his chin. "Say you want me to kiss you."

"Am I dreaming?", he responded.

"Does this feel like it?" I bend down to kiss his neck, teasing it with my teeth. I kissed up his jawline and enjoyed the flustered mess I made him to.

He moaned quietly. "Please."

I stopped for a moment to chuckle. "You are begging me? Where did the mischievous ... self-assured ... cheeky god go?" I ran my fingers over his body.

Finally, Loki went out of the frozen state and began to touch me, too. "Kiss me", this beautiful voice of his said.

I looked deeply into his eyes to make him squirm and bend down until our lips met. We closed our eyes and I sank into the moment, the ocean of butterflies. I loved him. And I couldn't wait to be on the recieving end of such teasing.
