Lollipop

This meeting was going on forever. I stared at Loki, who sat on the opposite side of the table, and who had something I didn't: a lollipop. The last time I ate was breakfast, and Tony simply wouldn't stop talking.

I was hungry, I had worked out before the meeting in anticipation that it would only last an hour, but no, Tony was talking about his new invention for three hours now and he didn't seem like he planned to stop soon. So I craved sugar, and that damned god of mischief stared me in the eyes while slowly playing with that lollipop.

All of a sudden the door opened and Pepper came in with a clipboard. Tony looked up and stopped talking, he seemed like he woke up from a haze.

"Pepper, dear? What can I do for you?"

"Originally I wanted to ask you what parts you need for the new thing you are working on, but now I think I need to ask you to take a meeting break. Have you looked at your teammates in the last two hours?"

Tony blinked. "No, I haven't. Should I?"

Pepper rolled her eyes. "(Y/n) is hungry, Natasha needs to train because her energy goes through the roof, bruce needs to work on his own project of the day, Steve has made a paper shield even if he knows nothing about origami and Loki wasn't listening in the first place. Right, Loki?"

Loki pulled the lollipop out of his mouth and asked: "What?"

Tony nodded. "So that means Thor and Clint are listening. What I was saying -"

"No", said Pepper. "Clint is making new arrows under the table and Thor is asleep. Please continue tomorrow."

A loud snoring from the chair in the corner helped to prove Peppers point.

"Fine", Tony said. "But I want you all here tomorrow at the exact same time."

Everybody jumped from their seats and practically ran out of the room while whispering a little 'thank you' for Pepper. Except Thor, he stayed where he were.

I went down the hallway and Loki caught up to me.

"I sure hope we still have one of these lollipops in the kitchen, I watched you eat that thing for the whole meeting", I grumbled.

Loki chuckled. "That's the last one."

I cursed.

He laughed. "Now, if you don't use such bad words, I would let you have it."

"Have your lollipop?"

My steps came to a halt, and so did his.

"Yes", he answered with a raised eyebrow. "Or does the thought of my saliva disgust you?"

I quickly thought about my daydreams and the places I imagined his tongue could be of use. "No." Then he smirked and I felt my face heating up. "Well, yes ... no ... I mean, the normal amount."

Loki's smirk grew wider and I cursed at me in my head. "Then take it", he said and held it in front of me.

At this point there were no other team members out in the hallway, we were completely alone. My heart beat faster and I felt like I was suddenly sweating as I looked him deep in the eyes and took the lollipop with my mouth.

Loki's expression of disbelieve and hidden arousal was worth it.

"Thank you", I smiled and walked away, leaving him in the hallway.
