Chapter 6

It was surreal, to say the least. And he wouldn't be exaggerating if he said it felt like a fairytale. And for her, well, she felt like all the walls she had so painstakingly built around herself were crashing down.
It was him! He was here! For her! only and only, solely for her!
She felt like a thirsty person who had just been offered water, a lost child who just found his parents. It was unbelievable but she had been missing him like a body misses a soul. Her own emotions scared her. But she just couldn't help but cry out as she saw him there, all majestic in that beautiful pink attire and and threw herself into his arms.
His arms - they automatically wrapped around her shaking body, as she wept and wept into his shoulder. The whole world had diminished into the background and it was only them. Not like they show in movies but...somehow, exactly like that as he himself started to tear up.
Surely if was fine for friends to cry like that meeting after two days, right? It was just that they were so used to of living together in big boss....it was just that the days had been too over whelming....surely...their minds reasoned for their own breakdowns...but nothing could stop her tears from falling and his heart from soaring.
She kissed his face, so so lovingly as he bent down towards her, allowing her to do whatever she wished.
And when she started to move back, becoming slightly aware of the surroundings, he held her waist, pulling her and tucking her in his arms.
They were bought back to earth by Manish's voice.
"Kya pehchana hai yaar! Nakhun se pehchaan liya"
He looked at her. How did she do that? How?
What was he for her?.... WHAT WAS SHE FOR HIM? he had no answer at all, just that, she was so so very important. He had spent the free time of the day with his family and he just knew, she felt like them. She felt like family. And she was just as important as them. And it was scary, the thought that he could be so invested and connected with a person he had just met a few months back. Her life was somehow entwined with his, so intricately and now he knew that, not just in the house, but in the real world too - his life was completely binded with hers. It scared him
But then he noticed her tear stricken face, her smudged mascara, her quivering lips and he knew, he knew she was just as into it as he was. And at he knew, so well, that with her, he could let his inhibitions go because he could see himself in her teared up eyes. He could see how precious he was for her, how important.
He was safe with her, and he needed her to know she was safe with him.
He wanted to adore her, cherish her so much as he fixed her messed hair.
She looked at him, "Tu tha voh?" she had known! her heart knew him. She knew him, so so well.
He no more had any control on his own self as he pulled her back into his arms and bent down as she went up to kiss his cheeks.
But then as Manish spoke again, his voice was like a whiplash as he snapped to the earth and their uncanny situation.
He should have met her before, he realized. He should have. They needed to talk and he doubted they would get enough time for the talk they needed to do...
"...aap Yahan pe aye hein Shehnaaz ke Liye ek achha vare dhoondey ke Liye" he was aware of her eyes never leaving his form as Manish spoke.
*Ek achha varr... seriously? prospective grooms for the SHOW. it was show god damn it, Itna serious words use karne ka kya matlab hai?!* his mind mocked as he went on to answer.
"Yaar Sana ke Liye suggest karna itna tough hai na kyon ke sana kab flip karey gi kisi ko Nhi pata!" they laughed but she clung to him. She kept holding his hand and he tightened his grip on hers. "but ek Baat hai ke Jo bhi iss ko mile ga..usse entertain karna parey ga usse but uss ke paas ek sur quality honi chahiye, Shehnaaz ko jhelney ki" hisarm came up around her as he said that and hers wrapped around his torso from the side.
He immediately looked for her reaction and she smiled at that but he knew. He knew what he said didn't sound as good. It had to lead to that *jhel o meter* activity but she didn't know that. And she didn't deserve to be told that "usse *jhelna* mushkil hai" not one bit. And sure enough, the smile of hers disappeared the moment his eyes left her face and he looks at Ramish.  He couldn't help it, it was part of the activity planned so he pulled her tighter from around her shoulder, into his chest, hoping desperately that she understood.
And from the way she went into his chest, he knew she understood....but....she didn't deserve it. So he tried lifting her mood and he did what he rarely ever did, complement her. Not in t a task, not with her asking him, not in fun n games but genuinely, seriously and with all love and honesty.
"But mein sabko ye Baat batana chahta hoon that Shehnaaz is a gem of a person aur vo itni pyari larki hai, itns saath deti hai, itni supportive hai" She was, he realized as he said this with utmost honesty, not for the stage or camera but for her, to her.
She really was. She was a gem of a person. She was a gem and he couldn't believe he had the luck to come across it. And to think of her throughout the show, She had been with him through it all. Through the fucking all of it! Through think through thin, through his sickness, through his good days and through his bad. No matter if they had fought, if he needed support, of ANY kind, she was there. With him, for him. Her constant support system.
And that's when he realized she had begun to cry again and a lump had formed in his own throat. He paused for a minute, regaining his composure, rubbing her arm, holding her tighter.
This time was tough. Another hurdle but the most important thing was that they were together, hand in hand, ready to face life.
But what they weren't ready was for their emotions and their severity, of how badly they needed each other now.
However, again, they were together, standing firm with each other, for each other. So come what may!

I am genuinely so sorry for being inactive but my life has been so weird lately. However here I am with another chapter as I had promised! You might feel this is going a bit slow but I just NEED to do justice to this magical moment! Try watching the episode after you read this, you will fall in love with them all over again! I swear!
