Part Nineteen

Hanabi's apartment

"H-He's back...Hanabi, he's back!" Hinata almost screamed. She constantly bit her nails, nervous. No, she's not nervous, she's actually stunned. Perhaps, kind of frustrated, or, it could be she's overwhelmed by Naruto's sudden presence.

She gulps as her heart race ceaselessly. Since when? Since when did he come back? When?

Honestly, even the small details make her anxious and it's freaking annoying! It has been years and more! She should move on! She should!

Damn!

"Okay? He's back and what?" Hanabi said and she seems uninterested. She rolled her eyes the moment she dips the lipgloss on her lips. "Sis, don't tell you still love him," she added but the tone is flat rather than asking.

Silence

The indigo-haired closes her eyes, and breathes heavily, perhaps, trying to gain her inner peace, "Let's not talk about it. I'm tired."

"My oh my, you're blushing."

"Hanabi!"

The young Hyuga sticks her tongue mocking her older sister more. "Whatever!"

Silence

"Hey," Hanabi smiled making the vibe light. She steadily walks and hugs Hinata because she knew, the emotions are overwhelming, and although she has never experienced such before, she can empathize with the level of pain from a different perspective and that's why she understands. "I'm here, okay? I'm always here," she dug her face feeling her warmth, "I'm doing this because I might experience the same sh** soon and I want you to be the one holding me like this, okay?"

"Okay," Hinata smiled because even though she felt useless, even she felt alone, Hanabi is always ready to fetch her without a doubt.

"Thank you for this," she lets the tears pour and the moment they fell, the heavy feeling inside lessens gradually.

"We're sisters, right?"

"It's a wrap-up! Good job, guys!" Exclaimed Yuko,  the team leader of Hinata's team. "By the way, I'll be needing the data analytics of the progress. So everyone who's in charge of social media and survey in micro-team, please, send the analysis soonest."

"Hai!"

"Ops! By the way, since we reached the goal for this week, our team-building has been approved! Yay! Guess the place!"

Meanwhile, Hinata can't even concentrate on doing her task because Naruto's office is right in front, completely aligned to her table, and the glass panel is crystal clear. It means, she can see him thoroughly.

Yes, that's right, she wants to scream and if she could, she will scream as loud as she can.

This set-up...It's freaking awkward!

Stealing glances at the blonde, she won't deny that his feature upgrades so much. He looks more handsome now.
