Chapter 12

Nicole was watching scar teach cloey some fighting moves but cloey seemed a little down than she usually is.
"cloey? Is everything okay?" Nicole asked her sister.
Cloey paused "I'm...fine...." she said but didn't meet Nicole's eyes.
"no, she got herself into huge trouble last night." Scar told her.
Nicole felt anger and anxiety rushing through her. "cloey what did you do now?"
"I...i-i.." cloey stuttered
"The fool decided to look for me at midnight and she almost got herself killed by a wolf." Scar spoke for her. "if it weren't for me, she'd be on the ground dead." He added.
Nicole couldn't help but to yell at her sister "why would you do something so dangerous?! What if-" She was cut off by scar.
"don't, I've already yelled at her. she's learned her lesson." He told her. "right?" he looked back at cloey.
Cloey nodded.
"good." Nicole replied.
"err, anyways ... we should try to find the other sky warriors." Cloey quickly changed the subject.
"oh yes!" scar snapped. "mercury told me were another is. I think its Jupiter, but he said it as a riddle kinda."
"what did he say?" Nicole asked. If it was a riddle, then it would make it more difficult to find.
"I am the black child of a white father, a wingless bird, flying even to the clouds of heaven. I give birth to tears of mourning in pupils that meet me, even though there is no cause for grief, and at once on my birth I am dissolved into air." Scar told them.
"why do they have to make everything so difficult?" Nicole complained.
"listen, that could mean anything. And there is another one for another warrior." Scar told them.
"What!? No more...why?" Nicole moaned.
"What kills my source, keeps me alive feeds my life, neither you nor I would exist without it. I'm tied to you, I will follow you, but I'll melt in what I am made from." Scar told them the other.
"ohhh?! I think that one might be ice! Ice melts and it ties to you or-uh stick to you..." cloey guessed.
"But does ice follow you? And if it was ice, I would not wait for winter to come or travel to Antarctica" Nicole said.
"I just wonder which warrior that is." Scar said.
"well there is only one way to find out." Nicole said getting a little impatient. All she wanted to do is leave this place. She doesn't like the woods.
"yes, I best be going. I need to return to my duty's. I'll escort you out of the woods." scar said.
"no! please stay with us!" cloey begged.
Nicole felt a pang of annoyance. Cloey always talked to scar. Did cloey even remember Nicole was there? Did she forget the journey? "come on." She said without trying to take out the anger in her voice. "scar is right. We need to continue are journey"
Cloey looked surprised as if she hadn't expected Nicole to say that. So she has forgotten. Nicole felt her anger began to rise. She didn't want to talk to Cloey right now. She followed Scar along the trail ignoring cloey's comment about how her arm being fully healed.
