Chapter 14

"Right" Nicole responded. I can only think of so many places to find smoke. Nicole thought to herself. "where to?" Nicole asked Cloey.

"im unsure..." Cloey responded. "also why were you so rude earlier?"

Nicole paused for a second then she met cloeys eyes. "it seemed like you forgot all about are journey to not only save the earth but the universe itself." She groaned. "I wonder why they chose us." She said sounding pessimistic.

"oh Nicole," cloey said softly "I didn't forget about anything sis. It's just, scar is so cool!!" She smiles and jumps in excitement. Nicole gazed at her. "heh heh sorry."

Nicole giggled. "no, it's okay sis, I like it when u happy" She smiled.

"also, I need to apologize" Cloey stated.

"for what?'' Nicole asked.

"for never listening to you" she answered "I must be pretty annoying."

"heh. Yeah you are" she admitted "but that's alright"

"I love you sis...you know that right?" Cloey spoke smiling

Nicole retuned the smile "I love you to Cloey"

Nicole might be terrified to go on this huge journey but as long as her sister is smiling and right by her side shes okay because her sister is.

Nicole's mood changed quickly. "I don't get why they cant just tell us exactly where the necklaces are. Why make things harder than they already are" she mumbled angrily.

"The stars work in their own way" Cloey stated.

Cloey grabbed Nicole's hand. Nicole smiled. She just wished all this wasn't happening. Its all too stressful. Never in my life would I think id be saving the whole universe. What if we mess up? Will we all die? Why couldn't they choose someone else? I cant do this! Tears started flowing down her face and she trembled onto the ground, her fears getting the best of her.
