The Forgotton Stars

Chapter 3

Cloey waited for her sister afterschool fidgeting with her hands trying to control her excitement. Cloey was waiting on a table in the cafeteria. Cloey turned around and She saw Nicole walking towards her.
"okay, let's go!" Nicole said
Cloeys felt her heart pounding faster and her eyes lit up." OKAY!" she yelled but her sister gave her a warning glance to stay quiet. They walked out and headed for Nicole's silver-grey car. Cloey got in but didn't run inside like this morning. Instead she sat down calmly as the sister sat down in the driver's seat next to her.
On the way Nicole asked "did you at least get bingo a gift"
Cloey was offended that her sister would ask such a question "Of course I did!" she rasped. Her sister gave her a sharp look then asked
"what did you get her?"
Did Nicole think she was lying?! "A neckless" cloey replied. Cloey reached in her backpack to pull out a black box. Cloey opened it and showed Nicole the neckless. It was silver and had the planet Saturn on it.
Nicole had a stern look then said, "it's pretty but, will bingo like it?"
"I think so" cloey said
She would have to like it because Saturn is her favorite planet. She looked into Nicole's blue eyes. She forgot Nicole wasn't wearing her blue hoodie like she always was. Instead she had a hoodie with space on it-err-well more of just stars, but it was so pretty. It was strange that right now everything had to do with space. She wondered if it meant something, but she shook it off and told herself it was just a coincidence.
When They arrived at bingos house cloey ran up to her door and knocked. She can sense Nicole's anger, but she ignored whatever she was about to say and ran inside once bingo opened the door. "hi bingo!! Happy birthday!" she hugged her sister. Bingo was wearing a black coat and leggings. She had long brown hair like Nicole's and she had blue eyes.
"hi cloey! I see your just as happy as ever!" bingo said smiling
"I'm sorry. She's really hyper" Nicole said walking through the door.
"heh it's okay I like her spunk." Bingo replied

Cloey recognized bingos husband coal he was sitting down on a dark brown couch. He was wearing a dark brown t-shirt and had dark brown hair and eyes. "Hi coal!" cloey said excitedly
"Hey, it's been a while!" coal replied.
Cloey remembered bingos gift. "oh yeah! I have your gift!!" cloey reached in her bag and grabbed out the small black box and gave it to bingo. Bingo opened it and she looked surprised but also there was some fear in her eyes. why would there be fear in her eyes? Cloey wondered. doesn't she like it?
"it's pretty" said bingo but cloey wasn't convinced.
Cloey looked over to coal who was motioning his finger for cloey to come over to him. Cloey walked over to him. He had a stern look. He narrowed his eyes as cloey approached him. "yes?" cloey asked him
"that's a Saturn neckless right?" asked coal
"Yeah..." cloey answered. why was it such a big deal? "why do you ask"
Coal sighed and said" I'll tell you with Nicole"
Cloey didn't see why it was so important. It was just a normal neckless after all. wasn't it?
