As he unfastened his robes, I locked my gaze on him. He folded it nicely and placed it next to a nearby rock. Oh, he's so adorable. His eyes...his lips...his ears...everything about him is stunning! If somebody  says Lan Zhan is ugly, I'm going to smash them up! He's an angel in every sense of the world.

I frowned and pouted as he walked in and stayed a little further away from me.

"Lannn zhannnnnnnnnnn~" I scooted up to him, but he backed away:(. Hmmm. I keep scooting, but he keeps backing up, as is typical with lan zhan. Is it true that I'm that unattractive?:( no way! I'm the most attractive! Okay, I'll admit that lan zhan is more attractive, but still! I'd be desired by any man or women!

"Look at you!" I said, smiling and pointing at him. We went through a lot in life.

I began to giggle and gesture at him "Take a look at you! We've been through life and death together, and you're still scared of me, how adorable!" I hopped over to him, clapping my hands.

"Eehhhhh, what's with your bright red ears?"

"........"

"Waaahhh! Are you ashamed of yourself? Oh, my! What a day to see this, anyone would gladly pay to see the great and strong lan zhan blush like this."

Haha, I was only teasing him~ I wanted to have a bit fun before getting pulled down into the cave underneath us.

One

Three-

Wow, I was suddenly yanked down! I was aware of this coming but eek! I went down so fast! I didn't even get time to think, it's so chilly:(

As I can tell, I heard lan zhan also falling into the cave.

A/n: in the drama, I'm sure everyone knows what happened there:) so I will just skip it to the part where lan zhan and wei ying were on their journey<3

...

It was really hot, and we had a long trek ahead of us! If only there was more wind and fresh air out here, I could die. I sighed loudly and hurried to keep up with Lan zhan before he went any further. I grinned and drew a tailsman with ease; it was blue, just like Lan Zhan's robes. What a lovely sight. I wrapped a bright rope behind his back around his arm. I remembered the look on his face, he was looking at me, he'd had enough of me. I'm not sure why I'm proud of it; perhaps it's because he's cute. He's just too cute.

He turned around with an irritated expression on his face, hehe. It was exactly as I remembered. "Lan Zhan."I grinned and drew my hand away from his back, causing his arm to be dragged away from him. "Heh, this is my self-created tailsman. It can keep people within 4 meters. How is it? Is it fun?"I saw him lay his arm down, as if he'd had enough of my nonsense.

"what should I name it?" ...

"Should it be binding?"I yanked my arm back in a violent motion, causing his arm to rise. What a blast!

"or Bonding?" I repeated the process.

I sighed a little as I received no response from the other, hmph. "Maybe neither.", I smiled as I tucked my sword beneath my chin., "how about calling it...."

"Boring." Lan zhan was the one who forcibly yanked his arm this time, aaah, how cruel! I was never sure why he wouldn't let me complete what I was about to say. As I'm being dragged away by him, I regretfully pout.

"Lan Zhan! Wait!" A sudden sound came from his robe, and he brought out a small bag, which was burning incessantly."The Iron is responding." With no expression on his face, he said. He was conscious of his surroundings, yet he still looked around in case something went wrong. I had no choice except to play dumb. "Maybe it has perceived something."

"There may be another Yin Iron nearby." How smart, "you mean here?"

Lan zhan nodded and looked at me, "what?" I quickly shook my head, "Never mind"

...

We continued walking, but I became ill. My arm and waist wounds started hurting all of a sudden, as if someone or something was stabbing or probing at them. It hurts a lot, to the point where I grasped Lan Zhan's shoulder for support and didn't even realize it. I could feel him turning to face me, but I didn't have the fortitude to return his gaze. I felt sick to my stomach.

"Lan... zhan" Before passing out, they were my final words, and everything seemed so empty. Lan Zhan's anxious voice was beginning to fade away. Why...why is my body suddenly weakening itself? I couldn't think straight, I was too weak at the moment.

...

Will I perish before doing what I came here to do in the first place? I can't afford to pass up this second opportunity, yet I really want to. No, I need to achieve it.... my mind went blank. My entire body shut down, and I fell asleep quickly.

(Lan zhan pov)

I assumed Wei ying was attempting to play another unpleasant trick or something when I felt his hand rest on my shoulder, but when I turned to look at him, he wasn't laughing or anything. Was he wounded on his waist? Why is his other hand over his waist? He didn't dare to look at me either, and then he passed out, startling me. I was able to grasp him before his body crashed on the sandy, filthy ground, face down. I shook his body in an attempt to elicit a response from him, but he was unresponsive. What occurred was that he was OK only a few seconds earlier. Something had to have set him off, but what was it? There was nothing wrong with me. I even had a look around? What's going on...

I had to carry him behind my back, holding his and my sword in one hand and holding him in place with the other to keep him from falling down. He wasn't particularly heavy, but he was unusually light. I'm not sure what's going on with him, but I'd like to know because I might be able to help him in some way. We don't have much time left, so I hope he wakes up soon. I found a tavern and made reservations. I didn't try to go around with him on my back all day; instead, I walked inside our room and carefully placed him on our comfortable bed. I was exhausted, and it had been a long walk, so I'm hot, hungry, and thirsty.

Wei ying, you're a pain in the neck; passing out like that without warning made me nervous. I shouldn't be concerned, but I am. I walked over to the bathroom and took a cold bath while contemplating what had just transpired. He was still sound sleeping when I entered our room. That allows me time to check on his injuries. I approached him and carefully removed his robe to check on his injuries. Where did he obtain such a severe injury? Was it before he arrived here? Even if it were the case, wouldn't the wound have healed by now? I'll have to question him when he's awake.

"..pardon me for this," I murmured gently before taking a damp towel to wipe up his bloody wound; I hope this doesn't damage him. I dressed his wound and went to bed in my own bed. we'll have to travel in the morning tomorrow when he's awake.
