Wei ying couldn't help but blush with embarrassment....

Lan zhan was taking care of his wounded hand. "There's no need to do that lan zhan.."  wei ying thought, "what is this..feeling inside me. Why do I feel this way? Especially towards lan zhan, why do I feel like there's butterflies in my stomach, every time I look at him..I can't help but noticed the details of his perfect self..Am I sick.?"

Wei ying quickly shook his head to snap out of his thoughts, he finally realized that lan wangji was already walking away, "we have to keep moving before night falls." He was right, he couldn't let whatever he was feeling get in the way. He had a plan, and he won't let the plan fail. No matter what.

|time skip, cave temple on Dafan Mountain|

While they were on their way to the cave temple on Dafan Mountain, they met nie huaisang. They decided to let him tag along since they don't want him to get hurt while night falls.

"Wei-xiong.. I'm so tired" he whined and laid back on the wall, before wei ying could reply, nie huaisang was already fast asleep. He decided he should get some rest as well, when he looked over to lan wangji, he was already fast asleep. But he could tell that he was still aware of his surroundings.

"What are you doing to me lan zhan.." wei ying whispered to himself before closing his eyes. Not so long after, he eventually fell asleep peacefully.

Until...

"AAA W-WEI-XIONG!!", wei yings eyes suddenly opened and immediately stood up, "Nie nuaisang! Why are you yelling." He rubbed his eyes and took a good look at nie nuaisang, his face had fear written all over him. 'Ohh, it's time already' wei ying thought to himself

By that time, wangji woken from the loud noises, nie huaisang slowly lifted his fingers up and pointed to what freaked him out. Both wuxian and wangji turned their heads towards the direction. Both their eyes widen, the statue came to life. But how in the world?? Wei ying quickly grabbed his sword and pulled it out. Wangji did the same and they both pointed it at the moving statue.

Nie huaisang ran away from the fight scene and hid, he was too scared to even look at that thing (the statue). As the statue only went after wangji, wei wuxian had to try his best to help an distract the statue from getting to lan zhan. He knew why it was only going after him, lan zhan has the yin iron. And she (the statue) wants it.

But wei ying decides to mess around with lan zhan, like how he did in his past life, "I think she likes you", "shut up." Lan zhan response in fact put a smile on wei yings face.

They were able to fight back and sealed her back again. She was once again a unmoving statue. Nie nuaisang came out of his hiding spot and sighed in relief.

"Lucky we had lan wangji here or else we would all be doomed" he rubbed his forehead, wei wuxian stared at him and rolled his eyes. 'Hmph, I'm strong too and helped out' he thought to himself as he didn't wanna say it infront of them.

||time skip, if you watched the live-action Yk what happened:) I'm not tryna make this story TOO similar to the live action movie, so I hope you guys don't get confused when I randomly put new things in and take out a few things in this story||

||Gusu||

Wei ying and lan wangji actually went back to gusu, why you may ask? Just cause wangji says so.

<flash back>

"Wei ying"

"What"

"Come to gusu with me"

"Oh? Why should I?" Wei ying grinned as he watched lan wangjis ear turn red, his cheeks slightly bright pink.

"I.. wanna- I just wanna show my appreciation .. I guess" Wei ying couldn't believe it! Was lan wangji asking him out? Hehe~

"Alright then~ butttt you have to treat me spicy food and wine of course!"

"Mhm" .

<flashback end>
That's why, aha. Wei ying thought it was cute, he didn't mind either. He missed his opportunity back then..and he kinda regret it. He went through life and death with wangji so why not take the opportunity now before he ends everything?

||at the table||

"And what would you two like to have today?", wei ying smiled and said, "two buns! And emperors wine! And of course spicy pork."

The man nodded and left.

"Sayyyyy lan zhan~ does this count as a date?" He teasingly moved his fingers across wangjis arm. Wangji couldn't help but blushed at his words, he removed wei yings fingers off his arm and said, "N-nonsense..." wei ying leaned closer and smiled, "there's no need to be shy wangji~" before wangji could say anything, their food arrived.

"Thank you", the man smiled and left those two love birds alone. I mean by the looks of it, they did indeed look like two married couples. "Wahhh, lan zhan! Look at these tasty pork! Want some?"

Wangji looked at it and holy shi- it looks spicy. Well it is spicy pork but it looked too spicy so he kindly declined wei yings offer. "Cannot eat..spicy.." Wei ying pouted and shrugged, "more for me I guess" they ate in peace, no talking, just comfortable silence. They both did not mind, it wasn't awkward. But both their hearts were beating fast, they felt something they never felt before. As if it was the first time they had this feeling. The feeling of..

"Wei ying" wangji had to break the silence, "hm?". Wangji took a deep breath and stared at wei ying in the eyes. "Are.. well actually, is everything alright? You seem a bit off these days and I was wondering what's wrong?" Woah. This is the first time wei ying heard lan wangji spoke more than just a few words. He was surprised but happy that lan wangji was getting comfortable with him.

"Don't worry, everything is under control, I'm doing great thank you for asking. Say wangji, I was wondering..what would you do if your golden core was completely gone? And you were trapped in this place filled with darkness and with resentful(I cannot spell it, forgive me if I spelled it wrong) energy, you have no way of surviving so you choose to learn dark magic to keep yourself alive..or would have you just let yourself die in a painful way?"

'What the fu- what kind of question is that' lan wangji thought, before he answered wei ying cut him off, "just kidding, you don't have to answer" he smiled and leaned forward, "thank you, I enjoyed our "date"~ it was fun" he got up, "but I have to go back home, I'll see you around" before he left, he paid for them both and went back home.

Lan wangji couldn't help but think about what wei ying said. Is- is he hinting something??
