friends deleted scene number three — I do

Clémence was backed up against the wall of the beach house corridors, Calum held her lace-covered waist. “You look so beautiful,” he sighed, resting his forehead on hers.

She rubbed her thumb over his stubble, smiling before leaning up to attach their lips. He pressed deeper into the kiss, his hips thrusting into her own. He ran his hands up and down her dress, squeezing at her body here and there.

A cough echoed through the corridor as they quickly let go of each other, Calum hopping five feet away. They turned to face Silver and Ashton, their arms crossed tightly over their chests.

Silver took a step forward, grabbing Clémence’s wrist, “you are seventeen, your lipstick is now messed up, and the ceremony is about to start. She dragged the girl back into one of the empty bedrooms where everyone was getting dressed.

She sat her down on a couch, grabbing make up remover and a q-tip and starting to fix the blue lipstick.

Ashton hit Calum in the back of the head, “you are double her age, your tie is fucked up, and the ceremony is about to start. You idiot.”

Cal laughed, looking in the mirror of the bathroom the two currently were in. He fixed his hair, brushing it to the side of his face. “Oops?”

Ash hit him in the back of the head, “don’t you dare take advantage of that girl.” Ashton barely knew Calum, but he knew Clémence and he knew Michael.

“I’m not!” Calum defended, undoing his tie and restarting from the beginning, “I would never do that to her.” His voice was sincere, and Ashton wanted to believe him.

“If Michael or Luke walked in on you attached to their little girl like that, fuck, man. You would be dead.” Ashton moved Calum’s hands out of the way, doing the tie for himself. The brunette sat on the closed toilet seat, running a hand through his hair, “Silver is a few years younger than me—only five—and I always put that into affect of what I did with her and said around her. You have to remember that.”

Calum rolled his eyes, leaning against the locked bathroom door, “I do, Ashton.”

He put his hands up in defense, “I’m just trying to have a friendly conversation with you.” Ashton picked at the material of his dark slacks, “Have you two, like, done anything?”

“Dude, no!” Calum said, defensively, “She’s seventeen!”

“You’re the one making out with a fucking teenager five minutes before her father’s wedding!”

Cal rolled his brown eyes.

Clémence rolled her green eyes, “Silver, I respect you, I love you, but I’m not going to tell you about Calum.”

Silver begged, “Don’t tell your father or Ashton this, but holy shit, I ship you guys so hard, just not right now. I mean, you’re eighteen in three months, just wait until then.”

C sighed, standing up to look at the beach in front of them. Seaside, Florida was beautiful, the sand was a pale white, felt like silk beneath her feet. The houses were pastel colors, all matching with their neighbors. “I know, Sil, I know.” She focused on her reflection in the French doors, moving her hair to the side.

Silver hugged her from behind, resting her head on Clémence’s shoulder, “you’re getting so old, I don’t want you to make any mistakes.”
