The morning cold air filled up the room as a rush of wind went past. The cold temperature woke her up as she tried to move the blankets closer to her. Giving up, she stood up and went to her window, closing it and then opening the blinds slightly. Enough for the room to have a bit of light but enough for it to still be dark-ish.
she jumps back onto her bed and throws the covers over herself, snuggling into them while trying to get comfortable again. although there was no reason anymore, she was awake and not even tired.
reaching out beside her, she reached for phone, turning it on as she did so only to be greeted with at least 20 calls from an unknown number.
immediately she went to check if they had left a voice message but they hadn't. she ignores it and gets out of bed.
she was still cold even though she tried to get warm under the covers. She heads to the bathroom and gets ready for the day, immediately after she left for work. Meeting up with Jaemin at their usual spot.
he stood there on his phone playing a game but immediately turns his phone off when Seohyun was next to him watching him. "sorry I didn't realise you were already here" he smiles and gives her a hug. They start walking to their work as Jaemin rests his hand around her waist.
"you're feeling affectionate today?" she asks and he simply nods and tightens his grip on her waist for a spilt second then stops.

"finally a break after like five hours" Seohyun said dramatically leaning on Jaemin's shoulder. He laughs and grabs a note board writing out the last of the information he needed.
he puts his phone on the bench in front of seohyun as she sat down. He was about to put the note board down and grabs his phone when someone shouted his name. "Mr Na!" Jaemin and seohyun look over and see a male needing some help. Jaemin smiles puts his hand up for a second as he looked back at Soehyun.
"I'll be back, you can play games on my phone" and walks over to the patient. She laughs and grabs his phone, unlocking it and started playing the games he had. she wasn't the type to play games expect on breaks when he wasn't there.
she was really good at games thought, which is why Jaemin always got her to play on his phone so she made more and more records for him.
suddenly a message came up at the top of the screen. She was just about to start another round but when she glanced at the message to swipe it up, she read it.
Leader Lee — "are you almost done? we are going on a mission soon, be back before midnight."
Seohyun was left dumbfounded but decided to ignore it for now. She swiped the chat away and continued playing the game. I'll ask Jaemin about it when he gets back.
After about five minutes Jaemin returned and sat down next to her to see her score. The round had finished and she had won yet another round.
"hey uh Jaemin you got a message" "oh? from who?" he asked, still looking at all the levels she won.
"leader lee?" His expression remained the same which calmed her nerves. If he reacted any other way she would've been nervous as to what it meant.
"I call him leader because he is the oldest among our friends and we are going out tonight for a mission. if I'm telling the truth.." He leans close to her ear and whispers "we are only going out of town and we have to leave before midnight so we can get there in time"
He said then he pulled away looking into her eyes with a smile. She smiles back, which turns into a laugh. She laughs at him for being so serious about going out of town, while he looks at her almost offended, although he definitely knew it was a silly thing. feeling less nervous now, She goes on her phone and scrolls through her social media's until their break was over.
