Power up

The Animals and Trees

I arrived at a pretty big house sitting within the middle of the woods. This section of the island was for super-humans that had mainly earthy powers.

Considering Flora controlled plants and Fauna controlled the animals, I'm not surprised they're in the forest.

I lowered myself onto their front porch and tried to calm my nerves before knocking on the front door.

Within 3 minutes I heard two voiced bickering from the other side.

The door swung open and in front of me was Flora and Fauna in super super short shorts and a tight tank top.

Everything in my body screamed for me to tackle them and have my way with both of them but the realistic part of me told me to calm the hell down.

"You can stop starting and say something now." Flora laughed and her sister followed behind her laughing as well.

"Sorry, just a little caught off guard." I laughed nervously.

I stepped in and gave them both a tight hug and kissed their cheek as normal. I wanted to kiss a lot more but thought better of it.

"Flora will show you to the living room and I'll get something we can all snack on." Fauna said while slowly leading me into the house.

"Already looking at two snacks." I muttered underneath my breath.

"What was that?" They both muttered at the same time. My eyes opened wide as if I was a deer caught in headlights.

"Nothing. Just said I could use a snack." I quickly tried to cover up my lie.

They both nodded their head knowingly at each other.

Flora led me to the living room and took a seat on a long couch. I naturally sat right next to her though their was more than enough space for me to spread out.

I just couldn't help myself really.

She rested her head on my shoulder and we sat quietly and peacefully. She was scrolling through social media on her phone and I was just watching her not really wanting to care about what was on mine.

"We really missed you Emerson." Fauna said as she came into the living room with three sodas and a few bag of chips.

"I've missed you guys too. I always thought about what you two were up to while I was away."

Fauna sat on the other side of me and rested her head on my other shoulder. I could really get use to this.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Flora perked up and asked.

I nodded my head. I'd do anything that they'd want and really wouldn't mind. After searching through a bunch of movies. We all decided to watch transformers starting with the very first movie.

"I haven't seen this movie in a while." I laughed lightly.

"Same." They both said in unison.

We watched the movie in silence only saying something when it intrigued us with the film. Pretty soon I heard light breathing to my left and saw that Flora was sleeping.

"She must be super comfortable with you to fall asleep on your shoulder." Her sister noted as her attention was now on me rather than the movie.

"That's nice to know." I muttered mindlessly now focusing on the awake twin.

Her hands started treading up and down my arm and I felt every inch of my body tune into her.

"You have really buffed up since the last time we saw you. You were tiny and cute and me and my sister instantly wanted to be your friends and protect you but then you left.
