I heard voices but couldn't distinguish who from who.

I let out a weak groan and opened my eyes. My lids felt heavy again so I closed them. I tried one more time and were able to keep them open this time.

"Emerson, thank God you're okay." I heard a sigh of relief from my grandfather.

"What the hell happened and why does my head hurt so bad." I groaned again trying to sit up.

"Don't get up too fast. You don't remember the spar between you and elder Grey." My grandfather gently pushed me down on the bed but raised it high enough so I was sitting up.

My memories came slamming back to me which caused me to let out a weak cry. I killed him and brought him back to life.

"I remember. Are there any painkillers around here. Matter of fact, where are we?"

"We are in the nurses office and you've been out for a little over 5 hours. Your parents were notified but I told them to settle down and I was taking care of you."

I nodded in understanding while gramps got up and went over to a table that held a horse pill and a glass of water.

"The nurse said your head was gonna be spinning once you got up so she left you a painkiller for when you woke up."

I choked down the pill once it was handed to me with the water and I rested back against the bed.

"Where are Flora and Fauna?"

"They are in their classes but I told them they can visit you once school was over. You got yourself good girls. They damn there almost broke their necks to make sure you were okay, especially Fauna." My grandfather chuckled while patting my shoulder.

"I'll let you rest up, once school is over, I'll let the girls in and we'll get you home." My grandfather got up and leaned over to kiss my forehead before heading out the door.

"Thank you grandpa." I rasped out.

"No need to thank me son."

And with that. I was falling back into unconsciousness.

1 hour later

I felt hands running through my hair and another set rubbing my chest and my stomach. Who ever these hands are need to keep going because I'm starting to enjoy this.

"Ew even when he's unconscious he's still a pervert." I heard none other than Fauna huff out while her sister giggled next to her.

"Maybe if you keep your hands to yourself, then I wouldn't be such a horn dog." I grumbled out while opening my eyes and staring back at two sets of beautiful brown ones.

"You're our horn dog though." Flora giggled and kissed me.

"How are you feeling babe?" Fauna asked while also leaning down to kiss me after her sister.

"I feel weak but other than that, I feel well rested and normal." I shrugged.

"I was worried about you, especially through the explosion I thought for sure I lost you and I was so scared Emerson. The idea of losing you again was so terrifying and I'm sorry." Fauna started tearing up but I pulled her close and shushed her.

"Babe I'm okay. Just please don't cry. I'm alive and here." I hugged her while also pulling a sniffling Flora over as well.

We all sat there cuddling in silence. Two of us were reminiscing of the spar and the other was imagining how bad it could have really been.

The school saw the worst of the field and once word got around that he won a battle against an elder, kids started to fully understand how powerful Emerson really was.

While Emerson, Fauna, and Flora sat and enjoyed each other presence, a meeting was going on between Elders to decide Emerson's fate.

The question was: "Should someone as strong as Emerson be aloud to walk among them. Or should he be put down before he caused real damage."
