Kelly

My friends just keep teasing me all day. Ang ngiti sa aking labi ay hindi rin nawala. Para akong lumilipad sa buong araw. My mind seems to couldn't digest it all for the day.

"Ngiting-ngiti ang napansin ng crush niya, oh," puna ni Sab.

Namula ako nang na sa akin na ang lahat ng tingin nila. My friends eyed me full of malice. They are blabbering false hopes again.

"Yon oh!"

"Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala,"

"This is so mindblowing,"

Ramdam ko pa rin ang pagkagulat nila. Hindi lingid sa kanilang kaalaman ang pagkakagusto ko kay France ng matagal sa malayo.

Ilan lang iyon sa mga iba't ibang reaksyon nila.

"I think you two will be a great pair if ever..." si Oddysey.

"Right," si Ellise.

Ako pa rin ang topic nila hanggang nag-uwian. Naglalakad na kami ngayon papuntang parking space so the boys can send us home.

"Well, I didn't hear he had someone right now. Maybe you two can work it out in the long run..." wika naman ni Henry.

Napapikit ako sa mga pinagsasabi nila. They are seriously thinking in advance.

"Guys, you all are exaggerating and giving it malice. This is seriously giving Kels false hopes. We don't know what the future plans for them baka masaktan si Kels if ever..." si Samantha.

Nabigla kami sa biglang pagsasalita niya. She sounds so serious. Everyone went silent for a moment. This is always her nature. Realtalk and likes.

Napahinto ang lahat. Laking pasasalamat ko at may nakaintindi na rin sa punto ko. I tried to tell them back at lunch but they are all feeding me those fairy tale-like scenes.

"I'm not saying this because I'm against or something okay, pero with your hopeful words, Kelly will probably adapt on it and truth be told, we know what kind of man is France..."

Everyone is just listening to her sensible statements.

"We should consider that he is straight... he had many girls and with your words, you all sounds like you had forgotten about it. Masasaktan si Kelly niyan soon if ever."

Ang sinabi niya ay nakapagpahinto sa lahat. Seems like they had finally realize about it.

"Are you saying that we aren't allowed to hope?..." Oddysey contradicts.

Nagbuntong-hininga si Sam.

"I'm not saying that. I'm just reminding you all because seems like you all are taking this too far already. You can hope but not too much and based on the hopeful words you all are blabbering, that is too much for Kelly. You know hoping can either make you happy or the opposite..." she said.

Oddysey scoffed.

"And why do you sounds like straights can't fell inlove with someone like Kelly?" puna na naman ni Oddysey.

"We know what's in the reality, Oddysey. You are completely missing the point. Maybe some but certainly not all the time. Kaya as much as we all want it, we should stop hoping too high especially for Kelly... It's hard to fell in love with straights,"

Somehow, her words got me thinking too. Falling in love with straights surely that would be so much difficult. Straight! Falling in love with them is our greatest weakness as what others said who's like me.
